Mar 16:17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

This seems to be impossible to do unless one has "authority" to cast out devils.

devils are not angels....    and even in casting out demons, you have to do that in the name of Jesus or they will laugh in your face.   But angels are a whole different story as I have tried to tell you and show you for several days now.

So, God created demons from the get go? I don't think so. God does not create sinful beings, he creates beings to be good. If demons are evil they had to be good to begin with.

Is Lucifer considered evil and is he a fallen angel? Was the "serpent" Lucifer that went bad? Will these evil spirits be cast into the lake of fire? The lake of fire was made for who?

Mat 25:41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels

Mat 8:28  And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Mat 8:29  And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Anyone reading this thread will see clearly that all you have done is give your opinion without bring forth scripture that disproves what scripture clearly says.

Nope.  I gotta say Curtis.  I do not see it.  And I have good eyes.  nerd_20.png

I come back to that puzzle...can you really bend scripture into a pretzel?  No because it looses its salt and no one likes a pretzel without salt.

Maybe I am not anyone...do you suppose I might be someone?   thinking_20.png

Curtis, how many people have now pointed out to you that you are mistaken in your assertion that Adam had dominion over angels?

Are you willing to learn from a host of seasoned believers?

Fez, bring scripture proof. Show me through the Word of God that Adam did not have authority over all things here on earth.

Nope, you are making the assertions, and so far you have not proved a thing through scripture, as all of us have been telling you over and over.

How many times do I need repost scripture before you see it? If you dont see it by now, reposting will do no good.

you are applying scripture to Adam that was only for Jesus disciples and no one else.

Second Adam would not know he had power over angels unless God spoke that to him and those words are not in Genesis.

Heb 2:6  But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Heb 2:7  Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Heb 2:8  Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Is there anything you can think of that God forgot to place under man?

That passage in Hebrews is talking specifically about Jesus.  The writer is applying this as a Messianic prophecy about Jesus and is not using this in reference to mankind.  Look at the context.

Read it again. it is talking about "man" and the "Son of man" both! The first Adam, and the last Adam.

No, you need to read the context.

The context is about Jesus and Jesus only.   The verses that follow, read:

But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

(Heb 2:9-10)

This being a Christian forum, is not the Word of God the bases for what we claim? Give me scriptures that proof I am wrong. So far you have not given any.

Jesus said these people have eyes, but they don't see, they have ears but they do not hear!!! Matt 13:14-15

Maybe try seeing with your heart and not with the eyes of you head.

No God did not create demons at all.....   demons came from fallen angels mating with human women creating a halfbreed thing called a Nephilim.   When God destroyed the earth in the flood and these things died, their spirits had no where to go for they are not even of Gods creation.......   so they roam the earth looking for a body to enter and hopefully posses.  This is what Jesus gave us authority to boss around through his name.....  not on our own authority....   the Nephilim are the most vile evil things that ever walked the earth and they will be destroyed at judgement day.  They have no hope of redemption. yeah, taking Scriptures out of context isn't going to help you.  It is just a back door approach at throwing a barb at us.    False teachers always appeal to the heart and devalue the mind.  They don't want us to think or use our minds.  That's how they plant the seeds of false doctrine.

Not in this thread anymore...

It is threads like these that spread false teaching and confuse new believers. I am quite happy that we continue discussion in this thread, but Curtis will not be joining it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
