Wow, if something significant is going to happen regarding Jewish history within the next year or two, nuking Damascus certainly qualifies, but I don't think this is necessary in order to get a peace treaty. In fact, I think this may even be an impediment to it. Think about it- do you think the Muslim nations surrounding ISRAEL will immediately want to hold hands and sing kumbaya with Israel after seeing this? I'm thinking not. Of course, you guys may be right.

I'm still betting my two dollars on a peace treaty being heavily brokered by the good old usa to occur this year. This treaty will probably allow for Israel to rebuild their temple. That my friends is pretty significant.

you are assuming that it would be Israel that did it.....   not necessarily so.  and not even necessary to be a nuke.

 

ISIS could even attack and blow up some hidden WMD stash that could make the place a desolation....   or Assad might see him loosing to ISIS and just destroy it himself....    people in that part of the world tend to be a bit on the crazy side.

You are correct, I do assume if anyone blows up Damascus it would be ISRAEL. It would be better if Isis did it but do you think that will usher in a peace treaty quicker with Israel?

I have only recently heard about the blood moons.

However, 2015 has been on my radar for many years

because it is the 70th year from the end of WW2, when

the world order changed drastically. I liken it to the OT

70 years of Babylonian rule during which the power of

God's holy people was totally destroyed. At the end of

the 70 year period, God's Anointed, Cyrus, conquered

Babylon, liberated Babylon's captives and decreed the

rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.

Cyrus is an OT archetype of Christ.

In addition, the bible does say that both the moon will be red and the sun turn dark, so for now, I tend to agree with shiloh in thinking this has to occur together. Could this happen?

Yes it could......   that planet X could come between the earth and Sun and cast it's shadow much like the earth does on the moon.   It would also disturb the powers of the heavens as it also told will happen....           Could also be that the sun changes to put out a different light frequency that we can't see directly but reflects off the moon as red.   There is just too much we don't know about space to get a good grasp on any number of possibilities naturally..........   then there is that "because God said so" thing.
