Dear Sister angels4U, judgment of the Church is told us in Revelation Chapters Two & Three consisting of seven conditions prevailing through this present time.

According to 1 Thes 4:16-17 the catching up of believers to heaven will be the dead in Christ first, and then we who remain will caught together to meet them in the air.

To meet this criterion, only two of the seven assemblies addressed are commended, while five are told to repent. Who are they & what are the qualifications?

Smyrna. Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

These represent the dead in Christ who are risen first.  2 Co 5:8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Philadelphia. Rev 3:10-11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (Patiently keep God’s word), I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Rev 3:11  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

All seven assemblies of the Church do not have the same rewards, and only two are seen in heaven with Jesus by John prior to the seven years of tribulation. Only two have crowns.

Later rewards will seen in others having palms coming out of tribulation. Rev 7:14

Rev 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

My thoughts.

Rev 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

My thoughts.

The Great Multitude in White Robes

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,

who sits on the throne,

and to the Lamb.”

11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

“Amen!

Praise and glory

and wisdom and thanks and honor

and power and strength

be to our God for ever and ever.

Amen!”

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15 Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God

    and serve him day and night in his temple;

and he who sits on the throne

    will shelter them with his presence.

16 ‘Never again will they hunger;

    never again will they thirst.

The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]

    nor any scorching heat.

17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne

    will be their shepherd;

‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]

    ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]

Those saints are coming out of the Tribulation,the gospel will be preached during that time..remember the 144.000 Jews who will be preserved to preach the gospel. They will be of the tribe of Levi?

It will be a suprise for everybody speculating on when the rapture is..nobody knows for sure,personal I think it could be in the middle of the Tribulation?

Hi again, the great multitude to me are the ones not ready when Jesus first came in the air, and they became servants. did you notice that they stand before the throne, but there are 24 elders and four living ones round bout, and in the midst of the throne there before they arrived. Those are them that were kept from the temptation to come upon all the world that were with Jesus before the tribulation even begins. Thanks. I've got to find out why I'm not receiving email notifications of these responses.    :)

Hi Larry,

At the moment I am trying to find out what I believe about when the Rapture can  occur, when I was a new Christian I was taught that the Rapture will happen before the tribulation start,then I learned there a more views about when this  all  can happen..

It will be so difficult in the tribulation to live a Godly live and it will cost you your life,few will escape....many will be deceived when the tribulation starts,the enemy will have some kind of explanation which the people will believe ....

The Bible told us that Israel will make a peace treaty and that will be start of the tribulation.

This looks like it could be soon!

They will be forced by the world .

Also the first 3  1/2 years will be prosperity and peaceful but the second part is going to be terrible so why would God take us in the first 3 1/2 year?

In the second 3 1/2 years there will be trouble as we never seen before,if we are gone,the Holy Spirit will be removed too because He lives in us it is then I believe the 144.000 will come in place to preach to gospel and it will be very difficult for those then living and the might be put to dead.

Is this how you see it too?

.

Not quite the way I see it.

1.  Rev 1:10.  The Lord's Day of  begins Jesus' reign.

2.  Rev 4:1     John is caught up in spirit to heaven to write things that will occur after the things that was, and that are at this present time. Rev 1:8.

3.  Rev 4:2     Jesus receives His own throne.

4.  Rev 4.4     24 elders are round bout Jesus' throne before the tribulation begins. (Those of Smyrna faithful unto death. Rev 2:10)

5.  Rev 4:6     4 Living ones or beasts are in the midst of the throne with Jesus.  (Them of Philadelphia patiently keeping God's word. Rev 3:10)

Who were these 24 elders and 4 Living ones?  Rev 5:9.  . . redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

6.  Rev 7:14   The Great Multitude coming out of great tribulation sometime before the middle of the tribulation. The order of 1 Thes 4:16-17 applies here also meaning that the dead in Christ rise first, and then those which are alive caught up to meet Jesus in the air.

7. Rev 12:5    And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Do not lose track that these things occur after John is in heaven of the Lord's Day future. At this point in time is just before the second half of the tribulation.

Let me see if this makes sense to you before me going further. Thanks. :)

I am curious angel4u, why do you think those 144,000 are preaching the gospel? Why would you ask if they are from the tribe of Levi, when Rev 7 says:

And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel

I'd ask why you lean mid-trib, because I am always wondering why anyone does, lol, but I won't :)

lol Mega, it is time for me to refresh, I now remember that the priest from the Levi tribe will be connected to the new temple...

The 144.000 will be Jews from every tribe of Israel,here is a very interested article about the 144.000 it's to long to post it here...

You asked me why I believe I might lean the mid trip is because in the middle of the tribulation the Antichrist will show his real ugly face and all hell will break lose he will take his seat in Israel in the temple.

I don't think (and pray) that we have have to go through all of it but if we do God will give us strength until the end.

Before I read your summery of conclusions I will answer Larry...

Thank you Larry,that makes lots of sense , that is more or less how I see this  being fulfilled too...

The question : Where about would we be now in prophecy, is the waiting for Israel to sign the peace treaty the next step?

You wrote:

1Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

So the gathering of the saints will not come before the antichrist is taking the seat in the temple which would be around the middle of the tribulation  or:

But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31)

This is telling us God will gather us after the tribulation

Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
