Matthew 7:15-20 15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Galatians 1:7  which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit”-Ephesians 5:15-18

Early this year 2015, as we were waiting on the Lord, in a 21 days, fasting and prayer program in my Church, God gave me this revelation I will be sharing with you here…

During that particular program, we were actually asking God for an encounter with the powers of the world to come. And during that particular period, I was always at home, feeding myself with the bible and spiritual literatures. One of such literatures I was reading is, “Ever Increasing Faith” by the Apostle of Faith-Smith Wigglesworth-of blessed memory.

The Gifts and The Giver of The Gifts Which Is Better?

As I read that particular book, I came to a place, where he asked; “between people having a consciousness of God’s gift in them- and having a consciousness of the fullness of God in them, which one is better?” He answered; “I think it is better to be full of the Holy Ghost- and as you minister, the Holy Ghost, manifests his gifts through you as he wills”.

Although I may not be able to quote what he was saying in that book verbatim, but those were exactly what he meant.

As I read that, the revelation got into my spirit man. And within that period, as I was sleeping on my bed, at midnight, I felt something move on my stomach. At first, I thought it was a creature, so I tried to catch it with reflex as I awoke from my sleep. But I couldn’t catch anything. Then I suspected the move of the power of God.

My Premonition Was Confirmed

True to my premonition, as I slept, in my dream vision, two men of God appeared to me, explaining to me that what I experienced was the current of God’s power. But that however, I shouldn’t focus on the power, but rather focus on God.

After that particular supernatural experience, I began to always seek and ask God for the infilling presence and the power of the Holy Ghost. As I desired an experience of the mighty infilling power of the Holy Ghost, one night, I was worshipping God on top of my bed, lying face up…

As I worshipped, I was desperately expecting the manifest presence of the Holy Ghost. And dear, did I experience it? Oh, awesomely. The presence was absolutely unexplainable. It can only be best described as heaven on earth.

The Heavenly Ecstasy!

Oh my! For the period it lasted, the ecstasy was comparable to nothing on earth. No earthly emotions could come close to the fun I had with it that night. In fact, I can confidently affirm that I was translated from earth to heaven-and I mean that in the spiritual sense of it.

Oh my, my- his presence is best experienced than described. Hence my message here, is that you should desire to be baptized in the Holy Ghost- in case you’re not yet. If you’re already baptized, seek a daily, continual infilling.

You need the presence of the Holy Ghost to be able to continue your Christian race without fainting. In short, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit in you, is the easier and cheaper way to Christianity. It is God himself living in you, helping you to keep his commandments.

Because as the Lord Jesus says in the book of Matthew 19:26; “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” With the ordinary man- without the Holy Spirit- it is practically impossible to keep the commandments of God. But with God in you, in the person of the Holy Ghost, nothing shall be impossible with you.

Hence I reiterate, be filled with the Holy Ghost.

A single article can never be enough to discuss the great importance of the infilling of the Holy Ghost in the life of a Christian Believer. Hence, I’ll be continuing with this teaching subsequently as the Spirit Leads in my blog- www.righteousfaith.net.

You are truly blessed... There is joy and those who have experienced what you have afirm ..as you..there is nothing that can compare to the joy of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Smith Wigglesworth was a great man. God bless you. Continue to tell others about the love of God and His Son Jesus....and the wonders of experiencing the Holy Spirit.

Regardless of the merits of Smith Wigglesworth, Scripture commands believers to be filled with the Spirit. There are different interpretations of this today, but in Scripture the evidence of being filled with the Spirit ("that they had been with Jesus") was proclamation of the Gospel and God's truth with BOLDNESS.  (George has a devotional message about being bold as a lion, That would qualify as "Holy Boldness").

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy wordBy stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:29-31).

There is nothing mystical or magical about being filled with the Holy Spirit.  It simply means that God is in absolute control of the individual, and his heart, mind, thoughts, goals, motives and actions are prompted by God and not the flesh. Everything is done for God's glory and for His Kingdom (not for the praises of men).  Which means that the flesh has been "mortified" or put to death, and the coffin has been nailed down, so to speak.

It is quite often said that wrong doctrine doesn't matter so much as the results... people are being saved.

I find this disquieting to my spirit in that only God knows the heart and there are many who will say of their

proclamation Lord Lord... so by knowing this I also know that an obedient son or daughter will do this

2 Tim 2:15

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth

not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Tim 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable

for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in

righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly

furnished unto all good works.

KJV

The sure path found in Scripture 'IS' to establish oneself in the Word of God and live that established truth...

Remember it was a simple don't eat of this one tree and look at all the error and ruin that confronts us in this

place! Read and study Psalms 119 that which forms a person after God's own heart... it is not rocket science :)

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Over Smith's ministry it was confirmed that 14 people were raised from the dead. Thousands were saved and healed and he impacted whole continents for Christ. Smith died on March 12, 1947 at the funeral of his dear friend Wilf Richardson. His ministry was based on four principles:" First, read the Word of God. Second, consume the Word of God until it consumes you. Third believe the Word of God. Fourth, act on the Word."  http://healingandrevival.com/BioSWigglesworth.htm

Smith Wigglesworth was involved with the WOF movement within the Pentecostal Church.I do not support this teaching.

I believe he was more Pentecostal than WOF.  Other than their concept of what it means to be filled with the Spirit, Pentecostals are generally conservative in their beliefs and generally born-again Christians.  Personally I have not delved into his ministry since I have no interest in Pentecostalism.  But no one could find fault with this brother for his view of Scripture (for example):

“The Bible is the Word of God: supernatural in origin, eternal in duration, inexpressible in valor, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, personal in application, inspired in totality. Read it through, write it down, pray it in, work it out, and then pass it on. Truly it is the Word of God. It brings into man the personality of God; it changes the man until he becomes the epistle of God. It transforms his mind, changes his character, takes him on from grace to grace, and gives him an inheritance in the Spirit. God comes in, dwells in, walks in, talks through, and sups with him.”

Don't pentecostals teach that people who don't speak in tongues are not saved, or that speaking in tongues is the sign of salvation?

WOF teaches that we are literally Christ reincarnated and that we speak things into existence. That is surely heresy. I think John, Peter, Paul, or Jesus Christ our Lord would have had something to say about that if it were true. God hates it when His creations claim to be Him! Good thing He is merciful and paid for us with His Blood. Everyone who believes in Him has been assured of Salvation!

If there is a sect that believes so perhaps...but the Pentecostals as many other denominations believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today as when they were first given by the Holy Spirit.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
