I asked if it were sarcasm, and in the reply it was not mentioned that it was, so there is no indication it was sarcasm.

This same person just told me they would be ok with the government announcing tomorrow that from now on law enforcement would be making random searches of every home in the nation, without a warrant and without any probable cause.  On what basis would I think the comment about Trump was sarcasm?

Well, since God does have total control and He has a plan for America He has placed Trump as our President. Look at the election many were really shocked. Yes, that is what God wanted.

   Oh I understand completely,because of what "I assumed" anyone could assume the opposite as well & in all seriousness......perhaps he will clarify? But regardless,I do understand why you could take it as you did & I would hope others could see that as well.....          

   I don't believe I would want any of my "rights" infringed,I think once one of those rights are given up or taken away that the rest are sure to follow,I love living in a FREE Country & every one of those amendments in our Constitution we have to hang on to                              Love ya,Kwik

18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD.

22 And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

That is a  sloppy use of Scripture and really lousy application.
