Did any of you people go to kindergarten?

I did and I graduated.  I was voted 'most likely to be a know-it-all'

Lol...love your sense of humor!  We need more like you!  :D

Thank, C. Beth.  But I don't think Worthy has room for any more opinionated know-it-alls!  :P

With his climate change speech to the un, Ive been wondering, in idle speculation, if he is the false prophet.

I thought all Christians would have already come to that conclusion.  Not only is he a false prophet but a wolf in sheep's clothing, and millions of souls are in danger because of his deceptive honeyed words.  IT IS UNCONSCIONABLE FOR ANYONE CALLING HIMSELF A CHRISTIAN TO STOP WITH "THE CROSS WAS A FAILURE" or words to that effect.  Francis and Catholics in general have more faith in Mary than in Christ, and that is a fact.

BTW a prophet did not always foretell.  He was also responsible for forth telling. So whether you want to use the term *false prophet* or *false teacher* is immaterial.  Indeed false Christ would be even more appropriate for the so-called Vicar of Christ.

As if this wasnt enough, the pope praised thomas merton during his visit here. Merton tried to blend buddhism with the rcc doctrines.

Yes, Thomas Merton is part of who is behind the contemplative worship movement that seeks to use Buddhist meditation with prayer.  He is a Catholic priest who wants to be the best Buddhist he can be, according to his own testimony.

A convert to Catholicism, Thomas Merton was a Trappist monk who died back in 1968 when he was "accidentally" shocked from a faulty electric fan while attending an interfaith conference in Bangkok, Thailand.

Pope Francis referred to Merton as "a source of spiritual inspiration and a guide for many people …. a man of prayer, a thinker who challenged the certitudes of his time and opened new horizons for souls and for the Church. He was also a man of dialogue, a promoter of peace between peoples and religions."

just shows how deep the deception goes.

With his climate change speech to the un, Ive been wondering, in idle speculation, if he is the false prophet. After reading this, Im inclined more and more to think that..

Full text of his speech here.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/read-pope-francis-yorks-st-patricks-cathedral/story?id=34023376

"... Not that these things are unimportant, of course. But we have been entrusted with a great responsibility, and this is why god's people rightly expect accountability from us but the true worth of our apostolate is measured by the value it has in god's eyes, to see and evaluate things from god's perspective, calls for constant conversion in the first days and years of our vocation and, need I say, it demands great humility.

"The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross...."

In only human terms, crucifixion can be seen as the abrupt termination of Christ's earthly ministry. I'm sure the Sanhedrin thought that Jesus had failed -- until they had to forbid their fellow Jews from saying his name in public (Acts 4:17)!!!

The Pope said two things...   He called Muslims his brothers and sisters and he called Jesus' work on the cross a failure.   He didn't go on and expound on the victory of the cross.  A true Christian leader would not have been so incompetent as to call the cross of Jesus a failure.  A true Christian would speak in terms of the victory of the cross over sin and not let a secular audience leave with the view that Jesus work on the cross was a failure.

Pope Francis is a real tool of Satan.

They are your brothers and sisters too in the human race Shiloh.    Beware of  imputing wrong meaning to the words of others.

Please stop your venomous attack on the Pope.   None of the fruits of the Holy Spirit are being displayed in such highly offensive behavior being directed against anyone, including the Pope.  Hate is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit.  Hate comes from the enemy of Christ -  the one you mentioned above.

Why would any christian give themselves over to such hate  Do people not understand that giving themselves over to hate means they give control over to the enemy of their souls?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
