No, it's not a false  equivalency at all.   The point is that people kill all of the time with knives, poison, their vehicles, their bare hands, or whatever.   Banning guns doesn't stop that.  Gun violence is only a small factor in the number of murders that occur every year.  People can be knocked unconscious or tied up in their home and then die when the criminal sets their house on fire.  They can be beaten to death. 

We don't need more restrictions on guns.  What we need to do is enforce the laws we already have which would be effective if they employed.    The shooter in Oregon would have been stopped sooner had someone been packing a gun and was able to use it.   But thanks to a gun free zone, he was able to be on a killing spree.

The Oregon shooter is a good example of what happens when put people in gun free zones.  It is a stupid thing the liberals push for as if criminals are going to abide by the law.

According to the past president of the college this was NOT a gun free zone, and some students who are discharged vets were carrying but were in another building which was on lock down.  He (the guy interviewed on TV) was not allowed to lend assistance.  The new president says it is NOW a gun free zone.  Since the area is full of gun toten' red necks, this will not go over well.  

This was a premeditated act.  There were warnings on the web to not go to school that day.  The fault is in others not coming forth and telling school officials and police what they knew.

Law should prohibit people who are mentally unbalanced from possessing firearms.  We may have one in place now but I was involved in removing guns from a person's home who was unstable due to paranoia plus overdosing on RX meds.  I could not convince law inforcement that there was a serious problem.  A mental health worker assisted me.

After a 2006 incident in which one student was shot by another at Roseburg High School, local institutions — including UCC — hired security guards, according to the Eugene Register-Guard. Those security guards are unarmed, interim college President Rita Calvin told the newspaper. The campus is a gun-free zone.

The campus was  a gun free zone  before the shooting. It may not have been one under the previous president, but it was at the time of the shooting. 

 

The constitution guarantees us the right to bear arms. Unless you want to change the constitution, we still have the right to carry guns.

It's not paranoid at all.   There is a plan afoot to make us into a socialistic or communistic country.   That's why we are moving toward a single payer system in our healthcare, it's why progressive, socialistic, communism-friendly democrats promote tighter gun laws to restrict gun ownership.   Despots in other countries do not allow their people to own guns.

Faith is one thing.  Presumption is another thing.   Gun ownership is one reason why this nation has never been invaded.   Places in the US where people are allowed to carry guns, both concealed carry and open carry, have less crime and less gun violence. 

These shooters go for elementary schools and colleges where people are less likely to be armed.  Getting rid of guns and tighter gun laws, only make it easier for criminals who don't obey laws, kill more innocent people.   Gun laws have NO effect on the black market sales of guns.  It will affect a higher percentages of mass murders.

Communism has instilled industrial strife, civil unrest, terrorism, moral corruption, corruption in authority and crime as tools to break down the west and remove its structures, prosperity and freedom. The new communism called democracy is just a more subtle form of socialism, which ends up with the same result - the people are disempowered, disarmed, poor and oppressed. Trouble is used as an excuse to put in draconian laws to remove every freedom.

The old dragon - Egypt did the same to people - used them as slaves and treated them like a commodity. Have you ever heard the term "human resources" from which we get a human resources officer? That is a fascist, communist and Illuminati term, which Christians would never utter. We are not a commodity, let alone a disposable item.

Here is another term we never used in the past - community - commune, communism. What is a community? What defines it? There is no definition of its size, quality, quantity, its a nothing word. People are people, individuals, families, not a commune or a human resource. 

The old dragon raises its ugly head again in the last days, and is pictured in Revelation 17 - the red or scarlet beast. It is the last empire or power on earth. Satan's days are over, as this attempt only lasts a very short time.

Where was the millions of Jewish peoples faith during ww2?   

What is coming up in the tribulation is going to be much worse than what the Jews went through in WW2.How will the antichrist deal with gun control?I am not planning to be around for that.

I was just telling my daughter about this as an example of why it's not about guns.   If you take away their ability to get guns, they will use some other weapon, knives are easy to get.

tied up with the common sense God granted me as i grew up.....   and the constitutional government that is the authority of my country that he has allowed us to have and the demand that I follow that authority to whatever end comes along.   Even to defending that constitution.

And so also protect my family against dark things.   No it's not paranoid, it's being prepared to do the duties my Lord gave me to accomplish.
