When is it time to let the world go and focus on the things of God.

The time is when you realize your a living sacrifice. You look presentable to the world clean shaven for men modest apparel for women. You start paying attention to what you say and how you look like.  The dying to yourself daily and renewing of your mind daily. This can only be done  by swallowing your pride and being  humble yielding to the Holy Ghost!

In my mind has gone from a country and a world in danger, to a country and a world collapsed, and I am no longer looking to right a ship that seems by all accounts to be capsized, instead I am running a search and rescue operation.

Have I pulled the plug too soon? Is there hope for the world to return to a sane and reasonable place? Is revival possible,?  Or are we on the final glide path to tribulation?

Title of your OP asks the question "When is it time to let the world go and focus on the things of God"?

My answer to your question would be simply that there is no better time than right now to let the world go by and to focus on the things of God.

Let the world go by but give me Jesus.  The world is on a path to destruction sure we have to be about the great commission and occupy until Christ comes but it is equally true and scriptural that we have to save ourselves from this untoward generation.  Now is the time

To focus on the world is to focus on the things of God.  We are in the world not of it.  Remember lost people live in the world???????  Are we not to be a light to the world? Are we not supposed to love the people in the world as Jesus does?

We cannot turn our back on them.  We need to get the message out.  Jesus loves them and wants them saved.  To do otherwise is to turn our backs on them, how can we do that and still say we love Jesus?

I myself have ask this question?, but, when my eyes were open, and then I said why am I  wrapped up in the world and tried to shout out to everyone,  but then I realized, it is God that is in control ,even when I am not, and it is better to give ,of our selves as living sacrifices to preach the word to everyone around us, and be like Jesus to everyone, for we need to be the salt , and the light, and we cannot lose our part in the body of Christ  Jesus, we need to stand  firm ,put on the whole armor of God, and shout the good news, for we need to be the lights in a wicked and dark evil world,

Jesus stated that he told us these things must come to past, in advance , so we are prepared and ready to o battle with the evil one, , so let the world fade away and reject God, and let us do what we can ,to saved the rest, we are in the end times, and we need to be strong, and ready , in word, and in the power of Gods plan, we shall not fear , for when we are face to face with the evil that is upon us, for we have Jesus , and salvation is given freely, to those that understand our faith.,and abide in Him.

Riverwalker:  I understand what you're saying...I too have struggled with this issue.  Even though the conservative message is the right message, there is a higher message.  As you know, it's the message of salvation.   Not that it is wrong to "bleed the conservative message", Paul wrote this:  "No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier."  We must be careful not to get so entangled that we lose site of our ministry and message.... the ministry of reconciliation.

I can understand why you would want to stop burning over things, but I don't remember Gods Word telling us to stick our heads in the sand and not watch what's going on.....    I understand how it might be ok to do so for a while to get a grip on things, but we need to understand what's happening around us to help other folks....

True  Bible KJV believer those are the people who study the Bible diligently daily know we are in the church age. Every age ends in apostasy a falling away. Entropy is a result of sin which means things get worse not better whoever disagree is in darkness we are in end times. The world news is testimony of Bible prophecy being fulfilled.
