Empire 6-  Regarding Rome, it is evident the influence on it as an empire, even though they too revered the God of the Jews as is recorded concerning Titus at the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

The Antiquities of the Jews - Book VI, chapter I, paragraph 5:

5. And now Titus, upon consideration that the alacrity of soldiers in war is chiefly excited by hopes and by good words, and that exhortations and promises do frequently make men to forget the hazards they run, nay, sometimes to despise death itself, got together the most courageous part of his army, and tried what he could do with his men by these methods. "O fellow soldiers," said he, "to make an exhortation to men to do what hath no peril in it, is on that very account inglorious to such to whom that exhortation is made; and indeed so it is in him that makes the exhortation, an argument of his own cowardice also. I therefore think that such exhortations ought then only to be made use of when affairs are in a dangerous condition, and yet are worthy of being attempted by everyone themselves; accordingly, I am fully of the same opinion with you, that it is a difficult task to go up this wall; but that it is proper for those that desire reputation for their valor to struggle with difficulties in such cases will then appear, when I have particularly shown that it is a brave thing to die with glory, and that the courage here necessary shall not go unrewarded in those that first begin the attempt. And let my first argument to move you to it be taken from what probably some would think reasonable to dissuade you, I mean the constancy and patience of these Jews, even under their ill successes; for it is unbecoming you, who are Romans and my soldiers, who have in peace been taught how to make wars, and who have also been used to conquer in those wars, to be inferior to Jews, either in action of the hand, or in courage of the soul, and this especially when you are at the conclusion of your victory, and are assisted by God himself; for as to our misfortunes, they have been owing to the madness of the Jews, while their sufferings have been owing to your valor, and to the assistance God hath afforded you; for as to the seditions they have been in, and the famine they are under, and the siege they now endure, and the fall of their walls without our engines, what can they all be but demonstrations of God's anger against them, and of his assistance afforded us? It will not therefore be proper for you, either to show yourselves inferior to those to whom you are really superior, or to betray that Divine assistance which is afforded you…”

The Antiquities of the Jews - Book VI, chapter II, paragraph 4:

4. Now Titus was deeply affected with this state of things, and reproached John and his party, and said to them, "Have not you, vile wretches that you are, by our permission, put up this partition-wall before your sanctuary? Have not you been allowed to put up the pillars thereto belonging, at due distances, and on it to engrave in Greek, and in your own letters, this prohibition, that no foreigner should go beyond that wall.  Have not we given you leave to kill such as go beyond it, though he were a Roman? And what do you do now, you pernicious villains? Why do you trample upon dead bodies in this temple? and why do you pollute this holy house with the blood of both foreigners and Jews themselves? I appeal to the gods of my own country, and to every god that ever had any regard to this place; (for I do not suppose it to be now regarded by any of them;) I also appeal to my own army, and to those Jews that are now with me, and even to yourselves, that I do not force you to defile this your sanctuary; and if you will but change the place whereon you will fight, no Roman shall either come near your sanctuary, or offer any affront to it; nay, I will endeavor to preserve you your holy house, whether you will or not."

Empire 7 - England

Israel’s rebirth on the land that was conquered by England brings England into prophetic play as well. Which you Sister acknowledged as being part of the 7 mountains/empires by stating your belief that it is “End time Rome - (Great Britain)” for she “controlled Israel and made a deal to give Israel back their land.  Israel became a "State" in 1948.

However, I fully believe that the fact that England was in sovereign control of the land at the time of Israel’s rebirth, that both it and King George VI alone can qualify as fulfilment of this seventh mountain and king; of which the prophecy accurately predicted, “when he cometh, he must continue a short space.”  For in order to rightly divide the word, we must consider its entirety. It isn’t the mountain, or the empire that fulfils this prophecy, rather its king.

King George VI, ruler of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth, only lived four short years after the rebirth of Israel. He was succeeded by his elder daughter, Elizabeth, which to date continues to reign as Queen. Thus George VI was England’s last king. His death was only four short years after Israel which “was, is not, and yet is” as a nation born again.

But this is what those chapters are about -

The Eighth…

But again, Revelation chapters 13-18 is about the rise of the eighth and final empire in the last days that goes into destruction. Now you also stated that the “Final empire (of the 7th which becomes the 8th). I can accept measurably what you are saying, but not the end to which you have taken it.

There, the seven headed beast is meant to represent the rise of a particular and final kingdom that is spiritually connected to Israel, and we are told “the eighth… [which] is of the seven, and goes into perdition.” Nonetheless, all this prophetic imagery surrounding the seven headed beast with all the symbolism intended to represent the various key biblical players which need to be identified if one is to gain a correct understanding of John’s vision.

One such important example that reveals the necessity of paying attention to every detail as essential for gaining a proper understanding is demonstrated by the obvious distinction seen when this last eighth empire, represented as the seven headed beast rises out of the sea, it is alone in chapter 13. Yet later when in chapter 17 when the beast is seen again by John the woman sitting upon it.

We cannot dismiss that “the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.” Now, because of that phrase “is of the seven,” it must be concluded that “the eighth” is either a direct extension or descent from the seventh, or it is a mixture of each of the seven empires, being an end time conglomeration of multitudes, languages, nations and tongues; a nation existing as a cultural melting pot, a land of international immigrants. Either way, IMHO, America alone can comfortably wear this prophetic Cinderella slipper.

History reveals that it was mostly because of England that America even sought to get involved in World War II. Plus, it was World War II that accomplished three undeniable facts.

1.     WWII brought the sudden decline of the British Empire

2.     Help finish paving the way to the rebirth of Israel

3.     Through the introduction and use of nuclear weapons gave America its occasion to rise to its previous position global supremacy in both military and economic might.

But as the prophecy says, “If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” And thus God will execute His judgment upon this prophetic eighth and final empire.

Revelation 17:16 - And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Why fire? Because with whatever weapon (i.e., sword) of war you use to kill unjustly with, so shall you be killed. For it was President Truman who gave the order to introduce humanity to nuclear weapons when as fire from heaven it fell upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Revelation 13:11 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb [appears to be for peace, but] and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him [first beast being the eighth empire, he being the leader thereof, and note, never called a “king”], and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,  14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast…

And what was the world’s response to this new weapon of warfare?

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Speaking of “forty and two months,” another interesting fact is how President Franklin D. Roosevelt suddenly died nearly three and a half years after making this famous speech about “A day that will live forever in infamy...” and therefore he did “not see when good cometh” at the conclusion of the war.

Jeremiah 17:5 - Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

I say nearly, because if we use the Julian calendar, it was only 3 years, 4 months, and 4 days excluding the end date. However, scripture reveals God calculates time differently, using both the solar and the lunar cycles. One solar cycle was an approximate biblical year which was adjusted periodically with an extra month approximately seven times during nineteen solar cycles. The biblical months varied between 29-30 days based upon the lunar cycle which fluctuates and therefore the months average out to approximately 29.5 days. Since it was a total of 1,221 days duration from President Roosevelt’s speech to his death we can simply divide that time and see it was a duration of 41.39 biblical months, or 42 months. Perhaps even more interesting is the timing of President Roosevelt’s death which actually occurred on the New Moon of April 12, 1945.

Some may protest because of Roosevelts “so help us God” speech, but when truly examined it becomes evident he self-righteously had “trusted in man, and made flesh his arm, and [his] whose heart [had] departed from the LORD.”

Thus I am fully persuaded that America is “the eighth… and goeth into perdition” soon… real soon. So much so,in obedience I have “Come out of her” and moved to Costa Rica.

And now in response to what others quoted me on about it being a city and it being a noun.  Freemasons have a secret handshake.  they have whats called mystery schools that teach deception but say its revealing truths.  These places also are very involved in studying subliminal messages thats used in advertisements especially on tv.  the basic meaning of occult is secret.  What I said about mystery babylon isnt something I pulled out of a hat.  I prayed and asked God to show me what was going on in the world.  A city by itself is not evil.  These people will and do have a headquarters because they will have global power at some point.  I dont know if the hour it mentions is a literal 60 minutes or a short span of time.  It dont matter though.  Its not the city so much that will be destroyed but whats in the city.  or should i say who is in the city.  Mystery babylon is for lack of a better term, a coven of witches which will come into global power.  Thats why she sits/rides the beast.  central command, if you will.   The people that practice this false religion are all over the world.  And at the higher levels they are not strangers to each other.
