The primaries are are about the party getting the best nominee, it should not be about who is better than the other party, as it should be assumed they all are.

Assumptions never feathered anyone's nest.  And it IS important to start pounding on the other party during the primaries.

Well, it's getting a nominee and it's own party doesn't like it. "best" is subjective.

Well, that's your opinion.  If we are, I doubt if it's Trump's fault.  Americans are going to have who WE want regardless of what the rest of the world thinks.

Well ,  when you get your weapons out of our backyard ,  you can have that luxury , but not until .

Wllla , you are impressive in your objectivity  ,and when I read the 'the head in the sand 'comments  from most here , it worries me ,for all our futures .  Trump is no more christian than the, ............... even if he is a 'character .  Imagine , that this is the leader  we get for the most powerful military nation in the world . No Wonder America is declining in science and overall education .

Obama opened the doors for Trump - star power, swag walk,  jay-Z, fist bump, shoulder brush, and a chameleon- talks proper in front of suits and ebonics in front of minorities. I recall Europe celebrating his victory.

Open pandora's box and you'll pay the price.

How does the government stay true to small government ideals and stop jobs from going overseas?

1. By avoiding phony trade deals altogether.

2. By providing huge tax incentives to manufacturers and businesses which stay within the country, and penalties for shipping jobs overseas.

3. By providing tax incentives to consumers who purchase goods manufactured within their own country.

4. By imposing punitive tariffs on imports so that they become less attractive.

5. By reminding the general public that patriotism includes supporting your own manufacturers, who keep jobs within the country.

6. By removing all the bureaucratic nonsense that wastes time and money and interferes with business.

7. By simplifying the tax system so that everyone pays a fair share above a living wage, and eliminating all the loopholes and complications which are counterproductive.

You don't need "big government" to implement these strategies.

Again I'm going to bring God into this and say which man seems to be conducting himself in a Godly manner. I think Kasich has shown humility in the debates by refusing to take part in Trump's "fellow candidate bashing". Rubio and Cruz did that too but lately they started doing it. However, Rubio said he's just trying to show Trump hes not afraid of him. I heard Ted Cruz say he wasn't doing it because he was applying the Bible principle of doing good to your enemy and thereby you will heap burning coals on his head. (Proverbs 25: 21 & 22) I also like that Rubio is a devout man of God. He was raised Catholic and has married an evangelical woman. They attend church as a family, and when time permits they often go to both an Evangelical and Catholic church. The 1 man who has shown no Godliness at all is Donald Trump. He even lied in a debate by saying he has never claimed Bankruptcy in his life. This man is not going to be president. But he may cause none of the other 3 to win neither in which case we will probably get Hillary as president. While I prefer her over Bernie Sanders I don't believe Hillary will make a good president. Especially right now when the first order of business is to undo much of what Obama did. Ted Cruz said there's 1 silver lining to anything done by an executive order. It can be undone with another executive order. Cruz promised to do that on his 1st day in office. One stroke of his pen and Obama's Iran nuclear deal is undone. Then Cruz promised to start rebuilding our military might. Cruz also promised to step up the fight against ISIS. He wants to avoid sending our men and women in on the ground as long as possible. But when and if he must do it he promised to untie their hands from around their backs. I've been waiting to hear that for years now. Mr. Cruz said he will do it.

Good grief, Vendtre, stop and think about what you just asked.  You know the answer already.

I don't know the answer, I have heard a lot of sound bites and empty promises, but nothing else.

You can't turn back time, jobs that left are not going to come back because we can never compete on the wages.  Heck, even China is now losing jobs because their workers are demanding too much, and they get a fraction of what they do here.

So, I would like someone to explain how, without making the government more intrusive, jobs are going to be brought back.

I'm one of those that believes government doesn't produce ANYTHING and that includes jobs.  We have immense natural resources; we have been prohibited from selling oil and gas for years.  I understand that prohibition has been lifted or is about to be.  I don't have the answer, not being an economist or a politician, as to what will work.  But I DO know what won't and that is sitting on our collective derriere whining that we can't do anything about outsourcing or the economy.

I think most Americans would love to take our weapons out of Europe.  Y'all are too expensive.  We are concerned with OUR country amd I've not heard any American say we need to ask Europe's opinion on our elections.  Just keeping it real.  ;)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
