That has been my experience also. I have researched all the worlds religions and philosophies, as well as many of the apocryphal books, and they can all be summed up in one word -- "Vanity".  As the Preacher says is Ecclesiates 12:12:

I can give you my personal viewpoint from studying both Islam and the secret societies that actually control the world today.   but not tonight for we just got back from a Crystal Gale concert and my mind is shutting down.

What is going on today is all supernaturally controlled and has been coming to this point of time for at least 4,000 years...    And though I get caught up in our day to day politics, we are situated perched on a cliff and I don't see any way now from going over the edge within the next few years and maybe even months.  Mainly because we really won't have a say in the matter if we want to live ourselves.
