(Romans 14:5)--"One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind."

(Colossians 2:16)--"Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day."

Scripture above does not even come close to mentioning the sabbath or a day of rest.

You cannot exclude the Sabbath from that context... and if you do it is outside the hermeneutical of the written text! Love,  Steven

Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. The Sabbath was a day that you ceased from all LABOR. Meaning, Toil for Gain.

The Sabbath WAS made for man, A day a believer is given a vacation, holiday, what have you, so that you had at least 48 days per year that you are free to do as you wish, relax, at least a day to give thanx to the one who gave you all days.

Now, Yeshua represents the Sabbath, He is the day of rest, A reminder of a future 1000yr sabbath.

Keep it Holy, DO NO EVIL, no bad, no wrong, do not make a plan on a sabbath, Just do good at least 1 day a week.

Now are redeemer, the LORD of the Sabbath, Has commanded that not just a day a week Do Good, but live your lives doing good.

EVERYDAY is our Sabbath, EVERY moment a time of rejoicing, for Yeshua has saved you from yourself.

Personal Relationship.

Now He walks with you, and talks with you, you can share every moment of your life with your creator, for He abides in you.

GOD HIMSELF stated, the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Point blank, the end.

Now, If you feel, that the Sabbath is to be revered, good for you, really, JUST DONT think everyone has to be like you. Now the Word says,

Let It Be Done According To Your Faith. If you truly believe the Sabbath is for you , you will be rewarded for your faith. If you believe that everyday is the Sabbath, and do good continually, You will be rewarded for your faith as well.

Look at what happens when you start defending a personal piece of your faith. Arguments, frustration, misconceptions, varying definitions, negativity. Now, what happens if you agree to disagree and stop and love each other because we are brothers and sisters in the Lord. Peace.

Now herein lies the problem with the internet, we do not really know to whom we are talking to, do we?

Is it a fellow believer, or is it a serpent?

Be vary cautious of the strength of someones position when they are blatantly going against Gods Word, speak with them privately. We do not truly know who they are, therefore do not be drawn in to negativity, bad only leads to bad.

Keep it Holy. Do NOT let evil be done on the Sabbath for to let evil be done on our Creators day that He gave as a gift to each of us, Is to let Sin abound, let it not be.

It is Our Savior who is LORD of the Sabbath, now we rest IN Him every moment if we soo choose. Every moment a Sabbath moment.

Yes keep the Sabbath, the Sabbath of life.

Peace and love to you..

I dont understand your reasoning??? If Jesus says He made the sabbath for man as a day of rest why in the world would man look for another day of rest. What do you say to Christ??? Thanks but no thanks

If it was still in effect at the time he was here then why in the world would he admit to breaking it.

Where in scripture is there a reference to "breaking the Sabbath?" You can break a commandment, sure. But break a day? So are you saying that Jesus admitted to breaking His own commandment that He wrote on stone with His own finger, but punished Israel for doing the same? The only breaking Jesus did was to break the Sabbath free from the over zealous legalistic burdens that had been placed upon it by self righteous hypocrites who considered themselves paragons of virtue and the epitome of wisdom. They accused Jesus of sin, Jesus admitted of no such thing. They considered healing cripples and blind people an unholy practice originating from the devil. Jesus asked them however which of them would refuse to haul out a sheep that got caught in a ditch...no-one dared answer, but you and I know that not one of them would allow a poor animal to suffer, yet they protested when Jesus healed anyone on the Sabbath. "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?" He asked. What was His answer? What kind of "work" ws Jesus performing on the Sabbath? What kind of work was His Father performing through Jesus on the Sabbath? Jesus gives you the answer.

"It is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days".  Do you really believe Jesus would approve of your using His healing acts on Sabbath and claiming they are akin to common labor? You are doing exactly what the Pharisees were doing. They, in order to trap Him, you in order to excuse yourself from obeying.

Yes that is exactly what I am saying.  He admitted to working on the Sabbath which goes against the 4th commandment.....   he brought us two laws to follow that replaces all the others but those Peter related to Paul.

Remember that people in the days of Moses did not have access to God that a born again Christian has through the Holt Spirit dwelling within us.  We don't set aside a special day, we go through life with him every day. We're not even committed to circumcision any longer..

If you are not a born again Christian then you are still under the curse of those laws, but if you are a born again Christian you are to live under His commands, not the ones given through Moses.

It's not really that hard to understand.

The Bible teaches Jesus fulfilled the law perfectly and satisfied the holy, righteous requirement of God in doing so ... all that teach otherwise will answer for their teaching! Here is a good understanding of this issue http://www.biblesabbath.org/tss/515/sabbath.html  Love, Steven

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
