Thanks Steven, that link answered several questions I had!  One quote from the article:

What was the nature of these traditional ordinances? "The Halakah indicated with the most minute and painful punctiliousness [attention to detail] every legal ordinance as to outward observance.... But beyond this it left the inner man, the spring of actions, untouched."

I looked around the site some more, it seems to be an association promoting saturday sabbath keeping as sunday sabbath is a false shadow I think they called it?

I dont understand your reasoning??? If Jesus says He made the sabbath for man as a day of rest why in the world would man look for another day of rest. What do you say to Christ??? Thanks but no thanks

Are you a scientist? You are trying to analyze a verse with your brain and not with your heart.

OK people, I understand spiritual things are hard to grasp sometimes but this legalism is getting out of hand.

The Sabbath is revealed differently over time, depending on the Covenant. (yesterday, today, forever, ROGER.)

Before The flood, I'm sure that they kept the same feasts, and if they worshipped the Creator, would go up to a High place, maybe on the Sabbath.

Before Christ's manifestation as The Lamb, They were Commanded, LEGALISM, to keep the Sabbath, to set them apart from the world.

Christ walked in the flesh, IN the old testament, soo of course He kept the Sabbath, maybe not as MEN commanded, but He knew better.

Now we LIVE EVERYDAY AS IT IS THE SABBATH, We worship in Truth and Spirit, Everyday. Doing no evil everyday.

"Take up your cross everyday, for My load is light and My yoke is easy." Understand?

Yes, by all means take a day off from your physical labors, don't burn yourself out, but don't think that somehow you are holier by doing soo.

We have all been forgiven, all been redeemed, all been white washed, we all strive for the goal, but it is not found in a particular day, it is found in all your days.

Soon we will enjoy a permanent Sabbath found by being with and in our Lord and Savior, the sooner the better for us, but we have work that still need be done, others to invite, do not forget why we are here.

May our God reveal many Truths to you. Amen.

Scripture above does not even come close to mentioning the sabbath or a day of rest.

Apparently they speak of celebrating birthdays and secular holidays in the bible, they would never speak of religious observances, lol.

As God has so taught us -that His ways exceed ours we can expect tension in our demands of conclusion in things... and as with most things there are ditches on both sides of the narrow path! Having been taught the observation of certain day no longer an issue I only referenced the article to understand that what was being foisted upon The Son of God as breaking the law was indeed not so. It was their interpretation of work according to the fourth commandment that was in error...

Matthew 5:17 (KJV)

[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

fulfilling the law meant to satisfy it's demands to the nth degree as the jot or tittle refers...

If you are not a born again Christian then you are still under the curse of those laws, but if you are a born again Christian you are to live under His commands, not the ones given through Moses.

It's not really that hard to understand.

Well otherone. So why dont you understand what it means to be "born again"?  According to scripture being "born again" happens when we are all changed in the twinkling of an eye. Thats when our corruptible puts on the incorruptible. This only makes sense because we are givin new bodies before entering the kingdom

PHIL.3 [20] For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:[21] WHO SHALL CHANGE OUR VILE BODY, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1PETER1

[4] To AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
[5] Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto SALVATION READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.

[9] Receiving the END OF YOUR FAITH, EVEN THE SALVATION OF YOUR SOULS.[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
[13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;

[23] BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1COR.15

[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. IT IS SOWN IN CORRUPTION; IT IS RAISED IN INCORRUPTION:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. THERE IS A NATURAL BODY, AND THERE IS A SPIRITUAL BODY. ........

[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Phil.3{21}

[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; NEITHER DOTH CORRUPTION INHERIT INCORRUPTION.

[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] FOR THIS CORRUPTIBLE MUST PUT ON INCORRUPTION, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Alls ya really gotta do is read 1Peter1{23} and 1Cor.15{53} and youll understand what it means to be “born again”

That's not when being born again takes place.  You are born again when you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.  At that time, you are filled with the Holy Spirit and become a child of God.

Being changed in the twinkling of an eye only happens to believers who were born again.  Being changed in the twinkling of an eye is not being born again.  It is being transformed, physically. And we are already in the Kingdom.

Sorry, but your teaching is false and is rejected by truly born again believers in Jesus.

I believe everything those Scriptures say.   I reject the way you twist and pervert them to support your false teachings.

You say you were saved and then say the specific day that they were born again. That doesnt fit with scripture ole boy.

ROMANS 8 [24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? [25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Scripture above says you are saved by hope and hope that is seen is not of hope. Now if someone claims they are already saved {born again} then what does he hope for?

1PETER1 [13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;

Hope to the end. Grace! When? Born again when Christ returns.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
