   That is the creed from the Council of Trent,,,,,,first you have to understand that catechism is merely a book of questions & answers concerning Christian religion which is mostly used for instruction for children & those aspiring to be catholics

    Baltimore catechism, approved for the United States ,was prepared & enjoined by order of the 3rd Plenary Council of Baltimore (1884),a revised edition appeared in 1949

     The preparation of the catechism of the Council of Trent (Roman Catechism)was ordered by the Council of Trent.It was first published in 1566 by Pope Pius V.It was not intended primarily for the  laity,it was prepared for the use of parish priests & brought a very much needed uniformity into the teaching of religion,,,,,,,,so I suppose the answer to your intitial question is no,I can say a lot of things about cathocism but I believe someone is ridiculing them & threy must be catholic bashers,,,,,,,,

     Many people,I've seen it here,refer to the creed of the Council of Trent,,,,,,,,,it depends greatly on which Pope is in the Vatican,,,,,,most did not adhere to this creeds after the 16th century                                         With love-in Christv<Kwik

Radical Islam was not a clear and present danger at that time.  Also there was no Pope Francis winging it as and when required.  But the basic teaching is UTTERLY FALSE and opposed to Gospel Truth. Neither Islam not Judaism can be given comfort in opposition to the Gospel.

The real issue is that the RCC has "another gospel", and Paul clearly states that anyone who brings "another gospel" is accursed (Gal 1: 8,9). 

Please note this applies to the hierarchy, not the poor adherents who have no clue, but truly believe that they are in the one true Church.

Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ and His finished work of redemption (Eph 2:8,9; Tit 3:4-7). Plus nothing, and minus nothing.

Is the Pope and the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church saved, or are they wolves in sheep's clothing seeking whom they may devour by spreading this false gospel?

I don't think we have the knowledge to answer that question.  We certainly don't have the authority to declare it so.

yes, but he is the one who decides who is saved or not....   It's one thing to point out people's failures but another to think we can know their hearts....   I don't know anyone who does not sin at one time or another, so I would not even begin to decide where to draw a line.

I don't know their hearts so it is not up to me to make that decision
