Brother - did you read my post at all?  Maybe it was too long.

We can't lie down in a pity-party of filth and just ask God to "take it all away".  As I said, the devil isn't going away on this earth during this earth.

You've got to fight spiritually!  God says so.

You've got to seek out that way of escape!  God says so.

Please go back and read my whole post.  I know it's long and I'm sorry for that, but you aren't helping yourself at all right now by just wishing it would go away and believing that "this is God's justice" to you.  God never causes people to sin nor punishes them by not providing a way of escape.

YOU have a serious role to play in this that you are not doing.

Blessing Brother, Think about this!!!!!! if there is a piece of broken glass in your foot, what will you do? will you leave it there? Or will you seek help, I mean it is deep down in your flesh will you go to a dentist to remove the broken glass? you will find the right place to get it remove, so you will not loose your foot, you are aware the broken glass is there because of discomfort you will not be feeling well,  This is why you know what you are doing is wrong because you are not feeling good about what you are doing, God is saying to you, For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right  and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you, that in it self say God wants to help you, just reach out when God Holds out His hand to you, just as someone is  drowning if someone holds out their hand the person will hold on for their life to be saved. If they want to die they will refuse the hand reaching out to save them.

You can control sin once you surrender your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, Holy Sipirt Takes control, Just avail yourself and God promise to be there there for you.

Love you with the love of the Lord, Jackie

I understand that sometimes you may feel distant from God – almost as if He left you. Maybe you will find it comforting to know that nearly all believers go through these kinds of “valleys” from time to time. Remember, because we’re human, there will always be times when we fall short of God’s standards.  That’s when you need to realize that the blood of Jesus can, and will, cleanse you from any sin. May Jeremiah 29-13 and Hebrews 13:5 be comforting to you. Cheer up, brother!

It takes time. Your addiction will not go away overnight.

When you submit yourself to God, you are telling him that the future that you want involves living life by his rules. If you let the Holy Spirit guide you, you will eventually overcome. Don't be put off by setbacks. God does not expect you to conquer sin in an instant, in fact sometimes it may feel as if he has abandoned you, but he hasn't. He could solve your problems in an instant, he has the power to do so.... but sometimes he doesn't and he has a reason for it. There may be a lesson that you have to learn and God wants you to be patient and find out what it is.

The knowledge of the God's word never ever destroy us. Our contumacy and self-justice (Rom 10.3) is that destroy us.

On 9/29/2016 at 6:42 AM, HisFirst said:

God has not turned deaf to your agony but you must dig deep and try to stop as well.

As HiisFirst said, Jesus always answer our prayers and ever speaks with us. The motive for which we don’t hear His voice or see Him to act is because we wish that the things are as we project (as Naaman):

Ø  “But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.” (2Kings 5.11).

There is nothing that blind us with relation to Christ and what He has to us (see 1Cor 2.9; 2Co 4.3,4) that riches, pleasures, lusts of other things, cares of this world:

Ø  “And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” (Mark 4.18,19).

Ø  “And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of [ this ] life, and bring no fruit to perfection.” (Luke 8.14).

Ø  “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [ so ] that day come upon you unawares.” (Luke 21.34).

The fact that He isn’t saying what we desire to hear don’t mean that He isn’t speaking, but yes that we insist on not to deliver throughout our life and dreams to Jesus. We continue persisting in convincing Jesus to give us mammon (Matthew 6.24) so that our plans materialize themselves. If we allow Jesus to live in us (Gal 2.20) His life (2Cor 4.10,11), we will conclude that:

Ø  “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [ his ] purpose.” (Rom 8.28).

As to the sin in our life, it is sign that we aren’t born again. Still we haven’t the Spirit of the Eternal dwelling in us and, obviously, yet we are died in our sins. See:

Ø  “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded [ is ] death; but to be spiritually minded [ is ] life and peace. Because the carnal mind [ is ] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” (Rom 8.5-9).

After all, Jesus didn’t come to take away only the guilt or debt of the sin, but the sin itself:

Ø  “And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1John 3.5-9).

Ø  “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” (1John 5.18).

I know that this word is hard. But we need to stop of spoiling the sin in our lives:

Ø  O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?” (Jer 4.4).

Enough of deceiving ourselves with that demoniac idea of that we only will get to be perfects in the heaven. If so, all that Jesus did at Golgotha would have been without sense and would be proved that the sin is more powerful than the grace. If it were that, the verses below would be lie:

Ø  “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” (Rom 5.20).

Ø  “[ There is ] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Rom 8.1-4).

Note, however, that there is a condition in order to the promise fulfill itself:

Ø  “[ This ] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Gal 5.16,17).

Ø  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Gal 5.25).

Who lives and walks in the Spirit count Him in to fight against our flesh.

Unfortunately, we have become extremely miserable for hope in Jesus in this life only:

Ø  “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” (1Cor 5.19).

This hinders us of approaching of the throne of the Eternal by grace (for delighting in the Eternal’s Lamb – Psalms 37.4).

Ø  “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Heb 4.16)

Who don’t come near to the Eternal for love, thus will make in favor of obtaining recompense, that is, for the law. Always that we do thus, we separate ourselves of the grace:

Ø  “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” (Gal 5.4).

And the promise is clear:

Ø  “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” (Rom 6.14).

While we insist in living for rights and duties, right and wrong, we never ever will be able to win the sin. After all:

Ø  “What shall we say then? [ Is ] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [ was ] dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which [ was ordained ] to life, I found [ to be ] unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew [ me ]. Wherefore the law [ is ] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” (Rom 7.7-12).

Ø  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” (Rom 5.20).

The sin arouses when the man decided break up with the Eternal and the neighbor. This did the feeling to die, what, in turn, fill us of desires and of rules to satisfy them and conserve the object of our satisfaction.

Ø  “Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:” (Eph 4.19-21).

The true justice of the Eternal manifest itself when we receive the truth in us:

Ø  “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8.32).

In other words, we will be free solely when we believe that whosoever Jesus brings to us it to justify them:

Ø  “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;.” (Rom 3.21).

Ø  “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev 3.20).

Ø  “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, [ Saying ], Blessed [ are ] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed [ is ] the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (Rom 4.5-8).

In other words, instead of demanding that the others pay your debts, that we allow the faith of Christ (Gal 2.20) to manifest from us to them:

Ø  “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Rom 1.17).

It is this type of faith that will make us to live. After all:

Ø  “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. [ It is of ] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [ They are ] new every morning: great [ is ] thy faithfulness.” (Lam 22,23).

May Jesus bless you.

Hi FreeinChrist,

It`s great that you don`t want to have this addiction. Now I`m very blunt in saying it is a demonic attack by an evil spirit. You need to rebuke that spirit, & probably continually for awhile - cut it off in the name of Jesus, off your life & thought life.

As soon as that wrong thought comes to mind, plead the blood of Jesus (that covers & cleanses) & have thoughts ready to replace that wrong one. Get up & move & do something else. The Lord overcomes the enemy yet still requires us to be vigilant & active in turning away, doing something else you have prepared for such attacks.

Be strong, for God is with you bro.

Praying, Marilyn.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
