In case you haven't noticed - the world is currently being besieged by violence from Muslim extremists. Would you rather he called for the brutal murder of all Muslims?? The church acknowledges that Christians, Jews and Muslims all worship the Father. We part unity when it comes to the Trinity. The Pope simple asks that all of us realize our common ground in an effort to stop the hatred and violence. This is a call for PEACE - not religious unity. He's not an idiot.
