Us technology for some nukes is still riding on B 52s, B-1 craft date as far back as what ? 1986? with upgrades they are still old weapons.

Kids with drones can likely defeat them- yes an exaggeration, but still- onboard piloted craft still in use today? Why?

An 11 year old with a phone app and a drone  can likely out maneuver half billion dollar craft of even just twenty years ago.

Next year's UPS delivery system will likely be more advanced than  present military weapons delivery, and more effective. It will become  "Candy Gram for Mongo" time.

Anyway, no I am not worried a bit about the USA under President Trump trying to start a Nuclear war with anyone. The Eisenhower doctrines of total retaliation effective for it's time were abandoned decades ago now.

What is on our planes has nothing to do with ground launching or submarine launching.

What makes anyone think any of our "Nukes" are even launchable?

What makes anyone think that they are not?

Not sure if other countries have abandoned similar policies.

Me either but I am in the shadow of Central Command. I get to hear the refueling tankers take off en masse when something bigger is going on somewhere. And we have never been nuked, not at all. We seem to have rules in place  that say, lets do proxy wars.

Man, you need to study up on things for what you are saying here doesn't exist.    The electronics on B-52's has been upgraded so many times one needs a mainframe computer to keep up with it all.     They launch up to date cruise missiles that were built not too long ago......    they have updated the bomb racks to handle the modern updated guided controlled bombs, and you can shoot a B-52 full of so many holes it's scary and it still flies....     It is so over engineered that it's still a viable aircraft.

BTW I have a good friend who just redid a Piper Tripacer that was built in the late 1940's and is a wonderful craft.   He's redoing a v tail Bonanze that was built in the mid 70's that will be like new when he is finished....   there is almost nothing that can't be replaced on these old airplanes.....       and the only way you are going to hurt a 52 with a drone might be to get it sucked up in an engine at take off.....   then again, it has 8 engines and flies quite well on 7.

B-1's though is a different beast.....   way too electronic sophisticated and way way too maintenance intensive.   They do fly well though....   it will do the same things that a F-18 Hornet will do in about three times the air space...

Well, that is all nice!

But then, I was never the one worried about impending nuclear war in the first place. Why I still remember my duck and cover drill from 1954. That will do it. I'm all set.

If only President Jimmy had managed to get his clean neutron bomb going. We would be all good to go,-  be able to kill all the people and leave the buildings intact. Good plan, evidently just a little too far ahead of it's time.

PS- "you can shoot a B-52 full of so many holes it's scary and it still flies". Okay! If that is the plan where are the excess B-17's? Lets load them up with guidance systems, and  cruise missiles. Fact lets utilize  some phone app for guidance and let some kid in Conneticut have at it  using one from his bedroom. I know one living B-17  "Flying Fortress"crew member from the Italian campaign. He can still pass on the knowledge of the craft. Least he does every time I see him. He's a good guy, pretty deaf from riding the belly turret for his 50 missions.

We are using 52'some in Iraq instead of newer planes today.  Last time I looked, Russia's strategic bombers are still bearcats.....  turbo props.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
