God works in a mysterious way, and there is not enough testimony, or explanation how exactly the Spirit works or other wise I wouldn't be daring asking y'all this question.

Repent to me is a form of truth, and I notice the more truthful you are the more you  are awakening.

When I meantining awakening it just mean becoming spiritual.

What is the opposite of truth is it hypocrite, and pharisees?

If we live in a lie then we're living in a lie, and not truth.

So when we worship in Spirit, and in Truth does it mean we should be honest about ourselves, and be humble and abide in the truth, and accept our flaw as being human?

This is the least most discuss topic, and the most vague topic because people would worship, and feel the Spirit, but the Spirit is normal, and does nothing it lasted for a few bit maybe 10 min, or longer then after that it goes away.  Is that the part the Bible is talking about?

Two type of Spirit to worship.

First kind
The kind where something within yourself feels good, and it's doesn't last long it appear then disapear pretty quickly.

2nd kind
The kind where there is a real Spirit that comfort you, and it lasted 24/7.

I did some research some where people think the one that lasted for a brief time are the one that are within yourself like your own self, and the one that lasted 24/7 is actually a real ghost it's an another person in a form of ghost.

This is what I am trying to find out how exactly do we worship in Spirit, and in Truth do we worship a Ghost "an another person", and worship something that is within ourselves that is hard to get it out, and hard to pleased if you know what I am talking about.

I'm really asking a deep question, and I am really trying really hard to explain without sounding too weird, or too confusing, and after all this is a question.

Very good question. And trust me you aren't being weird or confusing.

To worship is Spirit and in Truth means to love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Basically, Love the Lord your God with every fibre of your being and show that love by how you live your life.

And we do not worship the Holy Ghost, who, though being God, directs all worship to Father and Son.

I ask this question once, and I got banned for this question ok here I go asking it again.

How do we worship God?

Do we look in the air into nothingness, and worship God?

Do we have to say which God it is we're worshiping like God of Iseral, God of Moses, God of abraham?

Do we find the Spirit, and worship the Spirit that comfort us like it's a ghost, and a person AKA "familiar spirits"

You did say we are not suppose to worship the Holy Spirit then why do we still say three are one, and all three are God?

Sometimes people hear the word worship and they think of rituals, rites, bowing, doing something extra to get God's attention. In my walk I believe it is living in love with God. And being open from a place of joy to where we're compelled to go that day. By go I mean act, speak, share, listen. Whatever arises to our attention I believe is an opportunity to flow with the leading's of God as to how to handle it. And that then is worship.

The best examples to start with straight from SCRIPTURE (YHWH'S WORD)  is

to take care of widows and orphans (anyone poor and in real need of your help )

and to give a glass of water to someone who is thirsty,  without any thought of self and expecting nothing back.

i.e. DO what is right,  every day,  all the time.   CHOOSE to DO what is right,  all the time.

Again,  this is perhaps the best examples to start with (as JESUS said) in serving YHWH (GOD).

Whatever we do to the least ,  we do to YHWH (GOD).

Worship in Spirit and Truth

David Mathis

The issue is not whether we will worship, but what. Even better, whom and how.

On this Sunday, as many of us ready ourselves for corporate worship, perhaps the most significant single biblical text for guiding the essence of what we’re pursuing together when we gather is Jesus’s words in John 4:23–24.

“The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Heart and Head

True worship, says Jesus, is in spirit and truth. The “truth” part is plain enough — and with the coming of Jesus (“the hour is coming, and is now here”) that truth centers on his person and work, the one who is himself “the Truth” (John 14:6) and the message about his saving accomplishments for us, which is “the word of the truth, the gospel” (Colossians 1:5) and “the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation” (Ephesians 1:13). It is this “word of truth” (James 1:18) by which we’re given new birth, this “word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) that Christian workers endeavor to handle aright, and this truth that anchors and saturates worship that is truly Christian.

But what about “spirit”? Is this our spirit or God’s Spirit? Jesus’s memorable statement in John 3:6 helps: “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” It’s not either-or, but both-and. For those who are new creatures in Christ, our spirit owes its existence and vibrancy to the Spirit of God. As John Piper writes, “True worship comes only from spirits made alive and sensitive by the quickening of the Spirit of God” (Desiring God, 82). God’s Spirit ignites and energizes our spirit.

The Bone and Marrow

Christian worship engages both heart and head. It necessitates true doctrineabout the Father and his Son, and their partnership in rescuing sinners, and due emotion about that doctrine. It is both an affair of the heart and an affair of the mind. Piper sums it up as “strong affections for God rooted in truth.”

Worship must be vital and real in the heart, and worship must rest on a true perception of God. There must be spirit and there must be truth. . . . Truth without emotion produces dead orthodoxy and a church full (or half-full) of artificial admirers . . . . On the other hand, emotion without truth produces empty frenzy and cultivates shallow people who refuse the discipline of rigorous thought. But true worship comes from people who are deeply emotional and who love deep and sound doctrine. Strong affections for God rooted in truth are the bone and marrow of biblical worship. (81–82)

What It’s Not

So the essence of true worship is not external, but internal — heart and head, emotion and thought, spirit and truth — whether we’re talking all of life as worship (Romans 12:1) or corporate gatherings for worship.

Yet we’re so prone to identify worship with the externals: how nice (or shabby) the building is, how many are in attendance, how good the music is, how gifted the preacher is, whether someone near us is doing something on their smartphone other than reading a Bible app or taking notes, or whether one of the worship leaders is waving a hand distractingly or doing those odd facial expressions or swaying or even jumping. (There’s something to be said about “undistracting excellence” for those planning and leading worship services, but that’s for another time.)

But while the external forms that our worship takes are not insignificant, they are not the essence. They don’t make it, and they shouldn’t break it. True worship is not centered on and coextensive with the forms, but flowing from the heart. Spirit and truth.

Whatever Your Context

Take this reminder with you as you ready your heart and roll up to your next corporate worship gathering. The externals do matter, but they are not the essence. They need not rule the day.

Whether your corporate context is wonderfully conducive to what moves you most, or grates against all your personal preferences, the heart of worship need not be hindered — because the heart of worship is the heart.

At bottom, it’s not what we do (or don’t do) with our hands (or what someone else is doing or not doing), but what we do with our hearts and minds — because the one who has captured our hearts and minds. Worship is in spirit and in truth.

This guy is asking a question that is very relevant, especially to those who are in the charismatic and Pentecostal church assemblies.  You see, in the Baptist, and other orthodox churches, the movement of the Holy Spirit is not accepted ,while in the Pentecostal and churches that believe in the gifts of tongues and laying of hands ect., it is an essential part of their service.   In my early year as a believer i attended a Pentecostal church and visited a few others. Their service was always one with tongues and laying of hands and slaying of the spirit.

Now some would say that those things are nonsense, but i can assure that they are not, and there is real power when those people fall to the ground.  But i have always rejected those workings as counterfeit and confirmed this by denying any of those entities of forcing its ways and spirits upon my soul.  Listen, their are powerful evil spirits that come to deceive and make people feel like they are empowered by seeing and feeling all this spiritual activity.

So, now when he says the spirit is felt for ten minutes or so, he is not making this up, but the question is, is this spirit from the Lord or a counterfeit one.  Therefore what he is asking is , if he should worship this spirit that has now embedded itself in his body and he can feel its presence as it can manifest itself at will and give you utopia like feelings that you cherish and does not want to let go.     People in the Pentecostal  and other so called spirit filled churches has to come forth and say their piece on  this and if it is true.  This is serious business, as it is the soul at stake.

The 24/7 spirit he has mentioned are spirits that wants a body to inhabit and use for its dwelling and carry out its functions.  Those who have those spirits will know, because they demand things , like lust, sexual sins and habitual things.    Hope i have shed a little light here, as these things are present in this very world we live in -- Christian.

God is a spirit and we are to worship him in spirit and not with the oblations and the blood of animals or other sacrifices.   You cannot lie to God, therefore the truth should be sent up in prayer, no matter  the situation and it should be in the spirit.   Man composition is of body, soul and spirit.  So the believer communicates with his spirit and you offer up your worship in spirit and truth.   Hope i have answered your question, as my  previous reply did not really address it as such.  Good question that you posted.

John 4King James Version (KJV)

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

At least somebody understand me!

I am sorta a seer irl some say I am a prophet, but I do not consider myself prophets, or anything, but I do however do expirence spirits, and when I mean spirits I mean many not just one.

I hear things, and see things, and experience many things.

John 4:14
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

I have met this Spirit that Jesus was talking about that you will never thirst, and boy when I met that Spirit that never thirst it made me high, and it lasted 24/7.  I became paranoid it was as if I did real drugs, but it was the most legal drug you can ever have, and it was very powerful.  It lasted 2 month, and I had to take xanax, and after it left after 2 month it kept knocking on my door for 5 month, but I didn't know what it was doing till I told somebody about it, and somebody told me to invite it back in.   After I invite it back in boom again I was high, and it lasted for a day.  Then the next day it left, and it kept knocking on my door for 2 more month, but I have not invite it back in, and I was too afraid of them because I didn't understand.

Now it doesn't knock on my door anymore, and I read some where it says it is wrong to quench the Spirit, and it talk about them not coming back again once it leave for being rejected, and now I may never see them again simply because I reject it.

Hosea 4:6
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

Anyway I have seen Spirit that thirst, and seen Spirit that doesn't thirst, and I testify to you that there is truly  a Spirit that never thirst, and Jesus was telling the truth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
