Hi, this is a great topic because , when understood, it can change our attitude & our relationship toward God and what God can do for us.

God our heavenly Father Loved us FIRST and really wants to develop with each of us a parent to child relationship with HIM.

Father God wants us to be in a loving relationship with Him

What does it mean to be in a loving relationship with anyone?

What are the main ingredients for a  loving relationship to exist between two beings?

1)Belief in that person

2) Faith in that person

3) Trust in that person

A loving relationship is always symbiotic, meaning it takes two people to make it happen. It cannot only be one sided or the relationship fizzles out. The energy of the relationship needs to be coming from both sides for it to be vibrating=alive, moving and growing.

God our Father is Loving Eternal  Fixed(does not change/loyal to His Word) yet vibrating =faithful energy. He loved us first and He gives us the freedom to choose to want to be in relationship with Him or not.

That require on our part :

1* a desire to want to know and believe in Him

2*a desire to want to trust and love Him

3*a desire to want to be in continuous eternal loving relationship with Him.

To have a relationship with anyone we need to have some kind of basic hope, faith , trust in someone.

without placing some kind of basic trust in someone, a relationship cannot develop further in faith=faitfulness or belief=knowing it is truly TRUE

To have a relationship with someone,  we first begin by placing a little trust, a little belief, a little hope that what we are hoping for is truly GOOD.

Faith grows as we see that what we are believing in is TRULY GOOD and TRUE to what it says it is .

1+1=2

This is a fixed mathematical law, created by GOD our Father. It does not change.

God has made fixed Laws that do not change.

God IS a FIXED CONSCIOUS LIVING ETERNAL LAW that IS and does NOT change.

His equations are TRUE

The equation of Gods Love comprises of  LIGHT. No darkness can enter it.

Lucifer, now satan the fallen angel who fell from truth tried to take Gods laws and tried to change them. By Lucifers tradings he became prideful and wanted to become like God.

by trying to change them, Gods equations, Lucifer became himself a faulty equation

Lucifer is the counterfeit of what Is TRUE

What is good is TRUE brings LIFE is WHOLESOME and FAITHFUL to its GOOD WORD .

The WORD of GOD says that ALL have been given a measure of FAITH=faithfulness.

However without GOD we are not complete without faithfulness in HIM working in our hearts.

Faith=faithfulness =good loyal to his/her word by energy of action/thought.

Belief is what we first need to place in good faith towards one another in order to be in good relationship with one another in hoping that what we placed in good belief is coming to be actually be faithful actions to what it says it can be or is.

belief in something good =knowing what we are placing our faith=faithfulness in is something that has TRUTH, GOODNESS, LOYALTY in it.  Our belief, faith, trust , grows as how our interaction with what we believe in grows.

Now with God there is LOVE as God is Love, Light , GOODNESS. His faithfulness does not change, He is a FIXED LAW.

God is our heavenly Father, who has Love for us, believes in us, and has faith in us.

God sees our potential and is always looking to believe in us, like a good father believes good things for his children.

we either believe this or we don't.

But God our Father is still there waiting to be able to love and give us His love and abundantly so.

But many times we prevent Him from doing this by our lack of faith, our lack of trust.

Depending on how much we have faith in this and believe/trust this, makes the difference as to how we experience God interacting with us.

We either shut Him out or we allow Him in.

Our relationship with God starts to grow as we begging to have a loving personal relationship with Him.

Many if not most of us have to go through learning curves of understanding these Truths about who GOD says HE IS Through His Word and through prayer=talking to Him, interacting with Him on a personal relationship level by seeking to communicate with Him through prayer=talking to God and by reading His WORD. By placing a measure of faith and trust toward HIM.

How do we learn to trust someone?

Usually by the actions of a persons WORDS.

by giving them a chance to prove themselves

And the only way to truly understand and grow is by beginning to develop a personal loving symbiotic relationship with Him that is based on trust and faith=faithfulness.

Now what does developing a trusting loving symbiotic(two way) relationship mean?

what are the main ingredients in developing a  trusting symbiotic (two way) loving relationship with someone?

First is takes wanting to get closer to something we want to believe in and trust in.

We first may do that by placing some kind of blind faith =faithfulness,  that what we are hoping=trusting for is TRUE=faithful.

This placing some kind of minimum faith=faithfulness also requires us to place some kind of minimum trust in what we want to believe is true.

Like the beginnings of a loving relationship,

we need to place some kind of faith, hope and belief that this person is a good person and what they are saying about themselves is truthful.  And we also in turn desire to show them that we also are good and loyal and faithful.

The more we see that the person we are placing some faith=faithfulness towards is indeed reacting to our faith=faithfulness in love and goodness, the more our own  faith=faithfulness , trust, love, grows.

Like a good Father, God loved us before we where even born.

He is the good Father, wanting to get close to His children.

Wanting to Love His children

Wanting the best for His children

Wanting to give a wealthy good inheritance for His children.

Our Father God does this by showing us His GOOD examples.

By teaching us, by reprimanding us, gently chastening us and also giving us Hi blessings.

Like a good Father Gods arms are always open to HIS children.

Now what about US his children?

What does a child do in return for the love of HIS parent?

Does he/she show back love to Him?

Loyalty to Him?

good faith=Faithfulness to Him?

Usually a child who loves his father will want to please his father, will desire to be loyal to his father, will want to follow by the good examples of his father. The child will aspire to want to be just like his father. Not to take away from his Father but to Glorify and honor his father

As the Father has faith=faithfulness in His child, the child will learn and will seek to have faith=faithfulness in his/her father.

By being faithful in a relationship the relationship can only grow, the trust can only grow , the love can only grow.

Without faith=faithfulness is is impossible to please God our Father

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

When we take in God's Word as Life itself.... The Word becomes a guide

Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

[4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

in fact as exampled by The Lord Jesus -the bread had to come directly from God's angels hands as The Son's commitment to His Own Word yet to be written

Philippians 2:6 (KJV)

[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)

[15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

He did this so that we as people, (knowing), we could not have done this for our life was of here and of no other... (we the first born dead- in a dead place)

Hence the reality of belief that brings salvation is one that comes to this place -reckoning the death of all that we are to be one of Life by reckoning it so >placing full weight of being upon God's Word alone<... The first reality of God's entrance is new being repenting of old being and a set of newness, like unmovable stones, laws that are written on our hearts as the very fabric of Life... we know for the first time in our exist that God 'IS' because we have become part and parcel to His very Being in The Person of The Holy Spirit...
So appropriate is the response of Peter to the witnessed Life before Him in this

John 6:68 (KJV)

[68] Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

[69] And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

It is The Word that instills within us faith that loops back within us to an ever increasing 'His Life' both now and forever ... the journey is one of hardship to this flesh but this flesh is no longer our Life for we are awaiting our new bodies in the appropriate time -thus walk not in body but in s/Spirit and we will overcome our flesh to His Glory!

Love, Steven

Faith, Belief and believe are the same word in Greek.  Pistis is the noun and pisteuo is the verb.   Pistis translates both as Belief and Faith and Believe is the verb.

from VINE:  Belief, Believe, Believers

A. Verbs.

1. pisteuo (G4100), "to believe," also "to be persuaded of," and hence, "to place confidence in, to trust," signifies, in this sense of the word, reliance upon, not mere credence. It is most frequent in the writings of the apostle John, especially the Gospel. He does not use the noun (see below). For the Lord's first use of the verb, see Joh 1:50. Of the writers of the Gospels, Matthew uses the verb ten times, Mark ten, Luke nine, John ninety-nine. In Act 5:14 the present participle of the verb is translated "believers. See COMMIT, INTRUST, TRUST.

B. Noun.

pistis (G4102), "faith," is translated "belief" in Rom 10:172Th 2:13. Its chief significance is a conviction respecting God and His Word and the believer's relationship to Him. See ASSURANCE, FAITH, FIDELITY.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
