Some SDA people I have met are fine upstanding Christians. Ellen G White is a prophetess of their religion who has been proven to be a bit of an oddity. 

They are flatly against Rome and have excellent reasons for it. They do NOT teach that Sabbath observance is a salvation issue. I do not know anybody that teaches that. However, lots teach that the law was done away with so i guess they would be described by Yeshua (Jesus) as 'lawless'.

Umm yes they do and we have gotten into that a million times already and Ellen G white is not an 'oddity' she is a liar and a thief, plagiarizing heavily nearly all her written works

Not nearly always,  for either polite disagreement or iron sharpening iron.

Too much politeness present without the much better "open rebuke is better",   leads to people continuing in sin and thinking in error they are fine just the way they are,  continuing in sin, directly contrary to all Scripture.

Too much, or in error 'iron sharpening iron',  is sometimes if not often an excuse for a lie,  a false accusation,  by an unbeliever or by a believer who is proud without experiential knowledge of truth about a matter.

Try counting the number of traffic laws in any fair sized city.   ......   It is beyond most people's knowledge,  as well as being so many that no one can keep them,   (the laws will be used against them, and enforced, often on a whim by authorities or business men with a greedy agenda) .....

Yet people insist on passing a test before being allowed to drive.

Even diplomatic immunity does not relieve a person of obeying the traffic laws if they want to have any integrity, et al.

Thus also,   "no adultery" remains in effect,  morally, civilly and for righteousness sake (living right and not licentiously and not immorally).

Who here , or anywhere,  wants to come out of the closet and admit to daily adultery ?  (notwithstanding, so many publicized do, and even brag about this ! !  Though they have , of course,  given their souls over to satan and the flesh)

Legalism. Giving many verses to support the idea that we do not have to observe God's laws.
