Rev 11 question  I have for anyone interested...

Rev 11:15:  when the 7th trumpet was blown, why did the angel say, “The kingdom of the world HAS BECOME the kingdom of our Lord and he shall reign forever?”

Why then?  What event precipitated this declaration?

Thanks.

It is much simpler than you can guess. You KNOW there is a 1000 year period of time that Jesus will rule the earth with a rod of iron. Well, the plan was that MAN would rule the earth for the first 6000 years, then GOD would rule for the 7th.

The 7th trumpet will sound at the turn of the millennium. Since Satan's ONLY claim on earth is that he usurped Adam's lease, when that lease ends, suddenly Satan has no more legal hold to anything on earth. He is kicked from his position as spiritual ruler of earth and kicked out of the heavenly realms.

Jesus becomes the spiritual ruler, and gets His planet back. But He does NOT take physical possession until after the 70th week has finished.

Just like in Jericho when the people shouted the same thing about the city, a series of sevens had come out of the last seven of the first series of sevens and the wrath of destruction was upon the city. Rahab would be rescued with a scarlet cord from her window and so to the resurrection and rapture between the sixth and seventh seal preceding the wrath of God. Prior to that those under the altar with bloody garments, Her rescue preceded wrath and the rescue of the saints precedes wrath.

Revelation is both concurrent and consecutive, being able to line everything up perfectly like a systematic theologian seeks to, is something we will understand better as the time approaches.

Hi Spock,

The 3rd vision (in Revelation) of the Lord is as Mediator & Victor. It goes from Rev. 8 (heavenly altar) to Rev. 13. (the whole trib.)

Rev. 11 finishes the trumpets which come at the end of the trib, with the Lord`s coming.

(Rev. 12 & 13 are a parenthesis of the great battle for rulership of the earth.)

Rev. 12 Is the two combatants - Christ & Satan. (BOTH are shown their histories)

Rev. 13 Satan`s global government revealed.

The 4th vision is of the Lord as Judge & Creator of all things new. (This is the second half of the trib, to the end & beyond.)

If you don`t take heed of what the Father is revealing of His Son, then you get all the pieces in a muddle. Turn the picture over, (as they say) and it has the face of Jesus on it. Then all the pieces of the puzzle you had trouble with on the back, come together when we view revelation from the point of view of JESUS.

Marilyn.

This is the 7th of the 7 angels who were before the throne

Rev 8:2

*[[Rev 8:2]] KJV* And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

These are the 7 angels that were in Jesus's right hand:

Rev 1:16;2:1

*[[Rev 1:16]] KJV* And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

*[[Rev 2:1]] KJV* Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

These are His mighty angels that comes with Jesus

Matt25:31-321;2 Thess 1:7

Verse list:
Mat 25:31-32 KJVLite    When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
2Th 1:7 KJVLite    And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

From the parable of the tares we learn that Jesus sends his angels to remove from his kingdom,  the things that are offensive to his kingdom.

Matt 13:41

Verse list:
Mat 13:41-42 KJVLite    The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

When Jesus comes at the rapture with his 7 angels,  they will remove from his kingdom in preparation for setting up his kingdom.   Now notice this from the parable of the tares:

Matt 13:42 wailing/ weeping and gnashing of teeth.

When we look at the other instances of that phrased,  we find a common theme:

*[[Mat 8:12]]* But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Mat 13:42]]* And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Mat 13:50]]* And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Mat 22:13]]* Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Mat 24:51]]* And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Mat 25:30]]* And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

*[[Luk 13:28]]* There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Did you see the common theme?

BEING CAST OUT AND REMOVED.   The 7 mighty angels are removing the profane things from the kingdom of Jesus.   And at their completion the kingdom is set up.   Did you catch the one about Abraham Isaac and Jacob sitting down in the kingdom WITH ALL THE PROPHETS.

*[[Rev 11:15]] KJV* And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever...

*[[Rev 11:18]] KJV* And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the PROPHETS, and to the SAINTS, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

At this point will then begin the gathering together of the saints into the kingdom:

Verse list:
2Th 2:1-3 KJVLite    Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our GATHERING TOGETHER unto HIM, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

*[[Isa 11:11]] KJV* And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

*[[Isa 11:12]] KJV* And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

The gathering of the elect of Israel will not be an instantaneous event:

*[[Mat 24:31]] KJV* And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

According to Paul,  it is only at this time that the ma'am of sin is to be revealed.   I could go on,  but o will finish by saying that Apollyon is the man of sin that is revealed at the 5th trumpet.

Blessings

The PuP

One quick question.....how and when do the BOWLS/vials play out in your model?

Interesting take.  The moment 6000 is up just so happens to be right at the LAST TRUMPET.

The confusion I had was I figured this would be said right after the bowls, not the trumpets, since Satan and the AC still have more havoc to make on Earth. I knew Jesus wasn’t returning at the 7th trumpet, so I was wondering on what basis this statement was made here.

Your answer is doable....I suppose.  ?

So, are the seals BEFORE the week?

And are the bowls AFTER the week(1260-1290 days?)?

Hi Spock,

The Seals are an overview of the trib, and the bowls are in the last half of the trib. I`ll go and do another diagram.

Marilyn.

Baqckontrack wrote,

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming (Greek – Parousia). 24 Then cometh the end… 1Corinthians 15:22-24

Some try and split up the Resurrection of the Just into a number of events taking place over a period of time. But here the Bible plainly nails it down to one event taking place at one time. We are given here the order of the Resurrection. Christ first, then all they which are his at his Coming / Parousia. First the Head – then the Body. The Resurrection of the Just and our gathering together unto Christ take place at his Coming / Parousia. Plainly stated!

Paul wrote that the dead IN CHRIST would rise.  Paul wrote that those who are alive and IN CHRIST would follow the dead in Christ.

What you are missing: the Old Testament saints did not die "in Christ," for He was not born at the time. They are NOT the "in Christ." Paul was writing to the Gentile Christians at Corinth.  Therefore Old Testament saints can be raised at a different time, which by the way is shown to be "on the last day."

It is not pretribbers who "split up the resurrection of the Just," God did it in His word. People just try to be as accurate to the word as they can be.

Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
