The only part of the Westminster confession of Faith I  know.

What is the chief end of man. The chief end/purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy him for ever.

I believe that the purpose of life is the testimony of Jesus. Scripture says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of Prophecy. That makes our purpose to prophesy. Paul said that we are to covet to prophesy. Any child of the King can prophesy. All it takes is faith and a willing heart.

You say what is life? I would say different like what is our significance. The mystery here is beyond our limited intelligence to comprehend. Im sure scientists are just as baffled. It seems the more man learns the more man is confounded by the immensity of it all.

Lets say we throw a little pebble into a lake. it makes a tiny splash nothing to significant in the over all of the lake. Now if a giant bolder was thrown into the lake we would see something much more significant when it strikes the water. We are more like the insignificant tiny pebble in a vast ocean  of infinity of the universe.

So how significant are we in the grand scale of things. Yet we do have significance in Christ who calls His own by name. Baffling indeed

When the atheistic mainstream scientists and its believers say things like this that we are ''insignificant in the grand universe''.... I think sooo what ?. I don't understand the point of the negativity... why do atheistic Satanists always look at the negative in things ?. why not instead think out of all THIS GRANDNESS WE HAVE LIFE !! and see the positivity of it.  But ahh well.... if people want to be negative about stuff.... whatever makes them happy ahhh its because they are playing an agenda to get people to be depressed and negative it seems to me.

people ask the question whats the meaning of life ?.... Well why does they even need to be a meaning ?.

The meaning of life is to simply LIVE BECAUSE GOD AS GIVEN US LIFE.... LIVE, LOVE AND KNOW GOD !!!!… this ''life'' currently isn't living at all... it is just existing BUT ONE DAY WE SHALL KNOW REAL LIFE !!

The purpose of life is to let everybody who lives and loves life enjoy it till it is gone, for others, it may be to be dead, and their life to be hid.

Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hatethhis life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Mark 8:35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Luke 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

1 Peter 3:Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

For me, the meaning of life, the sense, the explanation, the significance, the implication, the message, the intention of my life is, ....predestination, ...I was know in the mind of God before He created the heaven and the Earth, in His mind I was predestined to be conformed into the image of His Son Jesus Christ and I was predestined for a determined destination, ...to be with Him forever in Heaven.  Praise God!!!

For me the meaning of life is the ones ordained to this condemnation, receive the just reward of the Lord, they never expected it, never heard the warning at all, but then again, they were never meant to, they were ORDAINED TO THIS CONDEMNATION..

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

To ask the question what is the meaning of life clearly reflects a need or want to know and understand more than just status quo, but an inner yearning. Its not we are born, we live, we die, but search for greater meaning for our existence. I have always yearned for seeing the bigger picture. I could never be like the atheist  that thinks we just happened. No!  we know that God is and exists  simply by seeing all that exists around us that no mortal man could duplicate. We all have wanted to know the meaning of life, but it is to complex for us. We will have to settles with the wonder of it all for now.

The meaning of life is to know the meaning of death, and then that tells you the meaning to have real life, which is by one being put to death in the flesh, so we live unto God. It is a mystery but that is why the world believes in God, even the devils, but they still do not know what life is, because their life comes and goes away again, it was never theirs, they never knew life was none of the things they ever knew.

John 1:In him was life; and the life was the light of men.And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Psalm 78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a windthat passeth away, and cometh not again.

Psalm 103:16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
