Nobody is saved by their works apart from Jesus.  When we have done all he commands us,  we are as unprofitable servants just doing our duty.  No boasting here.

Pride? prestige? Those tattoos are expensive.

I didn't know they were expensive - another reason not to get one.

How come it is okay to question whether I am saved, but not those who hold to OSAS?  I have seen a pattern.

Your words....”I believe someone with tattoos or someone who smokes can go to hell” unless they repent....wow.....listen to what you are saying.

jesus’ death on the cross is not enough for these people. You believe once you sin today, it is not covered under the blood of Christ.....you must remove that tattoo or quit smoking cigs in order for your sins to be forgiven (washed by the blood).

That attitude concerns me, FF.......I’m not holding back here....

I've read most of these comments on tattoos and I haven't seen this thought mentioned yet. Based on the number of people I observe and come into contact with out in the public, and what I observe on TV, etc. I'm of the opinion that as many or more people these days have tattoos than not? Tattooing and body piercings have become the norm and has become acceptable globally for the most part.

How much of a jump would it be to accept the Mark of the Beast; whether it turns out to be a tattoo, RFID chip, implant, something visible / invisible? Just as tattoos are permanent (less laser removal), the Mark will be eternally permanent.

When in the course of human history has so many men (and women) used the largest organ in their body to advertise something? Could there be any prophetic implications to this event occurring in our life time? I don't know, I'm just thinking about it?

Do Muslims and Hindus use such? I’m not aware. How about Chinese people? That makes up a lot of people you know.

I believe a tattoo can send someone to hell if they don't repent.

  Same with smoking.

I don't know what more I can add to this discussion.  We are going around in circles with silly questions like, if you think this is wrong, what about that?  I  know what you believe and you know what I believe.  I am fine with leaving it be, because the matter is settled with me.

Where do you read that in the Bible? Born again Christians can be send to hell for tattoos or smoking?

We are saved by believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins and accepting him as our Lord and Saviour.  I do not believe in OSAS.

I do not believe in OSAS.

And by not  believing OSAS  you will go to heaven?

( just yes or no will be fine as this is off the topic.)

And you believe one must believe you can sin after getting saved without repenting or they are in danger,  judging me and anyone else not OSAS.

I never said anyone must have tattoos removed to be saved.
