Good Guy or Bad Guy?

What ever was said or was done was it 'right'? No not does society or ones friends/family think it was it was 'right' but is it right according to the 10 commandments.

 

If one has done the right thing and ones friends/family think one should have broken Gods laws in order to spare them the embarasment of learning they were in the wrong.

Then one has to live with the knowledge that they expect one to lie etc for them.

Given the choice of lieing or hurting somebody’s feelings, I’ll go with lieing in a heart beat......every time.

Sure, I can see what you mean here, if you don't want to hurt another's feelings when you say their outfit looks fine after they just raved on and on about how they love the clothes they just bought.  Or perhaps, out of respect of an elder relative, you wouldn't want to be offensive or rude.

But, if my kids were being disrupive in class or with others in public, I would prefer to know about it, not be lied to that my kids are good kids. (I'm sure there are better examples either way).

When I was in school as a child I knew that if I got into trouble with my teacher then I would also be in trouble when I got home  NOW however we have to tip toe around everything and you cannot tell parents that the child is naughty/disruptive/lacks discipline etc as it may " cause offence " Even 10 years ago I remember the rule going out that ALL school reports have to be positive and not negative at all to help build self esteem !!! Yeah right all that did was let the parents ( those that cared ) get blindsided when the little darling was suspended or expelled or failed exams because as far as they knew all was wonderful with them   Is this helping the child ? NO is it helping the parents ? NO is it helping society as a whole ? BIG FAT NO  but it is what is expected and if you do not subscribe to that attitude somehow YOU are in the wrong !

Last year I caught a child ringing my doorbell and banging on the glass and then running away . His mother was in the park and I asked her to let the child know it was not acceptable …..  I got a mouth full of abuse from both the parent and the child ! Was I right to tell them ? YES I think I was . Did it do any good ? doubt it all it did was make the mother more abusive and reinforce the behaviour of the child Would I do it again ? YES  If the parent cant accept the misdeeds of the child and do something about it then at least when he gets to prison I can say " I did what I could "

Society in general seems to be worried more about hurting feelings than correcting behaviors, especially with children who have challenges in their neighborhoods, homes, or family backgrounds.  I know we could get on a tangent about lawsuits or marital separations, etc. all based on people hurting feelings, but that's probably a different thread.

And I bet you know why .     WHO do we think is really behind this move .      Satan is .      When emotions become the center ,   HOW on earth can one preach a gospel

that offends any longer .    How can one correct error and sin when that hurts feelngs .   SATAN KNOWS what he is doing .  He creates an all inclusive world

so that he is set up and worshipped above all and the gospel and Christ rejected .       WELL .     WE are BC and not PC .       oh that means BIBLICALLY CORRECT

not POLITICALLY CORRECT .     FOR no matter if the entire world did not believe what I say next , STILL it is true . EVERY man and woman ever born

WILL STAND BEFORE CHRIST on the day of judgment .    And there are only TWO GROUPS .   GOATS and SHEEP .

This does not surprise me at all .     BUT WOULD JESUS have had this same approach  .  NO WAY and NO HOW .     But I am the works man eh .      NOPE ,  lets FOLLOW JESUS .

 Was it b .    OH simeon ,  okay lets try not and do that ,  Here perhaps you can bring some donuts and we can try and say it another gentler way .

Was it c .   LEAVE THEM BE ,   they the blind leading the blind , and Every PLANT that MY Father has not planted shall be rooted up .

I am not surprised either...... “The Spirit Of the Law ( justice, mercy KINDNESS) trumps the “Letter Of the Law” everytime.Jesus proved this so aptly with the kindness He showed to the woman caught in the act of Adultery.He and the crowd had every right to stone her ...in fact, they were obligated to if they were to follow the Law Of Moses, according to the harsh , cold, unbending Law that you love-no doubt all the “ works men” in the crowd were eager to cast that “ first stone” that Jesus referred to.The Compassion Jesus showed to the woman that day made the Law look like a bum.Jesus showed the HEART of the Law that day.Law went up against Grace the Law that day and guess who lost.

Here is what I should have to explain to no one. “ Thou shalt not bear false witness”.... duh.......who does not know that? You ever see one of those poor kids on television with the cleft lips— I am talking about the very severe ones.They are unsightly. It is beyond heart- breaking. If one of those  kids came out to you and asked if they were “ ugly”, would you tell them the truth or would you think of some kind of lie to tell them to spare their feelings.That’s the kind of lieing that I am speaking of.I’d rather break a Commandment Of Moses and go to Hell before I would break the heart of a child.That’s my solemn decision....I won’t worship a God Like that and I thank Him that I don’t have to.What would you do, Mr. “ dead law of Moses must be upheld at all costs”? Btw, If I “do” sin by lieing to that child, all I have to do is repent real fast before I die and everything is cool, right? (Saints be praised for “ lucky repentance” !!! ) You do not have to answer immediately.......I will allow you the time to confer with your pal , Butero , the Head Cheer Leader for Lucky Repentance )Please give him a warm hug from me The next time you see him!
