You have to remember in truth christ is next ou you. Jesus said to his disciples there a time when you will all be scattered and leave me alone. Yet I am not alone for the father is with me. Could he see the Father not at all. But his Father and his God was next to him the whole time. At Christmas we can celebrate it wit the lord. There is usually churchs that have Christmas services too. We can visit and take part too. All if you live in a city like New York there plenty of places to go. Take time to worship and pray soon Christmas God will bless us.

I much prefer to spend it quietly thinking about what a wonderful gift we have been given that cannot be bought in any store or on line but was given with so much love that we just cannot comprehend it \0/\0/\0/\0/\0/\0/

Well, if a person has Jesus Christ in their life they are never truly alone. Some people have dysfunctional families and spending Christmas alone might not look too bad. 1

Same thing as most years. I'll either be volunteering at one of the homeless shelters in the area or serving at a couple of recovery groups I belong to. Plenty of ways to serve the Lord over the holidays.

For quite some years, I had been a care provider for my mom, so we always had Christmas together. She had long since given up the elaborately table spread for family and friends. At that point, her choice of a nice restaurant was to her liking. It was never as good as homestyle, but usually pretty good if the place was decent. My sister took over the last few years after Mom passed away. She had learned her skills well, and family was joined again. Well, until about a year and a half ago, that is. At least now I'm not ever quite alone here. Whoever has to work the holiday shift would rather be elsewhere, but they're pretty good sports about it. Maybe they get paid more for working these times, I'm not really quite sure. Miss my home and my pets. Two have gone since that time, and one is left waiting. I really do miss her, and hope to get back in order to take care of her some day. My lovely furries were like the children I never had the opportunity to have.
