I say, any holiday that focuses on the Christ Child, the Son of God, whose name is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace is wayyy okay with me. B116EAF4-A1D1-4578-8506-A9EB54325CDF.gif.030036fed387615dfe0f438dbffcd484.gifto all my siblings.

Looking at all the post and threads on here about "Christmas being pagan and should we talk about Santa."  Makes me miss the old days when Christmas was just Christmas.  Everybody I knew from non-Christian to Christian to even the pastor of the church, celebrated Christmas without issue.  Lights, trees,  even in the church. With of course a Nativity scene and a children's Christmas play. Now it seems we have people who act like we were all worshiping satan.  Trying to make us feel like we are less then holy and forsaking God to follow the ways of the world if we put up a tree or sing Jiggle Bells. That we are all heading to hell because of it.  Back in my day. We would have never thought of such a thing. In fact it was just the opposite. If you didn't partake in Christmas you were not being a Christian and not celebrating Jesus.   I wish Christmas could just be Christmas again. Instead of being an opportunity to show how righteousness we are by using it it pass judgment on fellow Christians. I wish it could just be a fun holiday with time spent with friends and families. Now everything is an issue.

Well thank you for allowing me to share my personal thoughts with you all. Merry Christmas!

Our world has changed. Things that used to be are gone unfortunately.

Merry Christmas lady.

Hi, Perhaps like many situations in life  the old days were never quite what they are remembered as having been.

There was a time when  in the" old days"  of Worthy that a small cluster of posters  had to be removed for the distortions they were promoting and the ganging up they were doing on anyone they did not decide was of their particular persuasion.  As I remember that even included a mod or two.

The word of our LORD can withstand much scrutiny and even debate. Iron does sharpen iron when done in earnest and with  good will toward those that have  even radically different views leanings and convictions.

Praise God for the ministry and the dedication to it by  it's founder. It is a great ministry, it can weather much,  especially if all will join in praying for it to do so.

and we lost a group of super sound people because of what a few were doing and was accepted......

But I've always been a borderline heretic so I can't complain.

Well I try to be one of the sound ones. Or at less a sane one.

ALL GOOD

Hi, Just a word about posting in all upper case lettering. It is very difficult to read all caps posts. Much easier to read all lower case if one due to some limitation cannot use both. Or perhaps double space between lines. white space is valuable and most helpful. All caps crowds the space.

Our world has changed. Things that used to be are gone unfortunately.

First and foremost; Jesus is the reason for the season and our focus.

Not only has Christmas turned into a complete secular consumption and consumerism season, giving presents beyond ones financial ability and racking up debt. It has totally changed in the last, what 10, 20, 30 years; to be attacked and changed from "Merry Christmas" because that's offensive to a few people, to happy holidays instead. No nativity scenes on any government buildings or property. Bologna, hogwash and baa humbug!

If I didn't know better, it looks like to me, roughly 50% of Americans have been turned over to a debased mind and all out rebellion, with no more fear of the Lord. If it has turned this bad this fast; what is it going to look like in the next 5 - 10 years? Next liberal socialist president or both houses of Congress taken over by liberals; the American party is over I do believe.

Merry Christmas missmuffet, and all here on Worthy.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
