On my own???

The reality???

I have GOD the Holy Spirit living inside of me and Jesus personally promised me He would never, never leave me!!!

Alone, ...ABSOLUTELY not!

And that Truth "is" reality!!!

They also said they expect 500 deaths. So I guess the implication is - maybe you will be one of them so don't worry? Really odd...

They already have an overloaded system here. My housemate called and was on hold with the NHS for 68 mins. Then gave up.

So if you are really sick - just get that stiff upper lip in play and tough it out.

Basically, you are on your own. And that is the reality of it all anyway. The waffle from the gov is just noise... placatory nothings. No one has answers, so they bifurcate many scenarios so you are left befuddled.

Totally with you there brother.  All the advice I hear so far is to wash your hands.  This is supposed to be a natural standard practice of good hygiene and do appreciate the emphasis of doing so.  As you said, no one has the answers, so basically everyone is on their own and how one recovers and survive this infection is ???.

I think though, people have to do their best to stay healthy and use foods that keep the immune bodily system in shape.  It is better than just eating junk and making way for other infections and disease to weaken  the  body.

Stay healthy and send up those prayers.

You know this is so true.  I have been in a few situations that has tested me to the limits that I was certain I was going to die, but I did not waver on my faith and choose to die if that was the alternative.  The Lord delivered me and I am grateful and thankful to him for it.  This was a spiritual battle with a physical test.  I thought many times to post this here, but I realize it was for my own personal witness and trial to remind and help keep me faithful in life trials and difficulties.   Anyone who has read my post in the past, knows that I have repeatedly spiritual warfare that are real, but yet cannot be seen and is just as dreadful as this situation that we have now.   It reminds me of Daniel and those three boys and how they kept the faith with steadfast fixture on the Lord thy God.   We have to be strong in the Lord and the power of his might  as these things and the many more that are to come would try us to the limit.

Amen and AMEN!!!

Brothers, sisters, IN Christ, ...today, at this very moment, in this current pandemonium, ...Father has "placed" us in a fiery furnace!

Jesus told us "we" are the Light of the world, His "Light," ...that is so "bright" that it out shines the sun!

How can we be that "Light" if our unsaved family members, neighbors, co-workers, friends and the world observe us "doing" the same thing the world is doing?

Where is our Trust in Jesus and His Word?

Now, more than ever, is the time to make our Faith evident to those lost and dying souls...

We live our lives in Faith of/in our Lord, the just live by their faith, and if it's Father's will that we become a martyr for Him, ...then as we live our lives to Glorify Him, ...may our death glorify Him also!

Have you never read Fox's book of Martyrs, ...the death of our brothers and sisters Glorified God, and their deaths resulted in many placing their Faith and Trust in our Lord!

Beloved, be encourages, be comforted, ...Jesus is "with" us, ...Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, soul, mind and body...

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

May the Lord richly bless you

"it would be prudent to get your items you need while they still can be found. "

This is the kind of thinking which creates the shortages in the first place.  Instead of joining the crowd, resist and the supply chain will soon catch up.

The UK is an area of the world where the US has not imposed travel restrictions.  This infers to me the US government has high confidence the UK is making good decisions and the risks are being managed well there.

I have not even visited stores in the last 10 days when when I go, I will not be attempting to purchase any of the items people are trying to horde.  Soap and water as as good at removing virus contamination as anything else.  Anti-bacterials do not kill viruses.  Washing the viruses off your hands is as effective.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound a cure. This kind of thinking will spare me tons of grief. I'm a man and I'm married. WIFE: Dennis, Dennis!; we're out of toilet paper, what are you going to do about it right now, blah, blah, blah? You expect me to write my name in the snow like you do outside??? Don't you come home without any toilet paper! No Dennis, I'm not filling the bath tub with water and some bleach and use a wash cloth, I need my bleach for laundry. And by the way, since you're going out for TP, I need laundry soap so pick that up also. I know it might take hours or days but, you can warm your supper up when you get back.

Happy wife, happy life  :noidea:

This is how it starts, the run. The run can be as bad or worse than what is being run from. Went to the local super Walmart early this morning to get a few items that might be beneficial should things deteriorate before the panic buying sets in full force. Never seen it that crowed that early in the morning; people coming out with lots of toilet paper; long lines at the checkout with shopping carts piled full of supplies. They are completely out of many things including hand sanitizer, toilet paper, etc., but they just received a shipment of TP that morning. Just like other disasters in my lifetime, people are becoming greedy, rude and starting to panic. Every place around here is sold out of hand sanitizer and other staples.

If you operate the same way business do, with just in time delivery and not stocking much. What's it going to be like laundry time, shower time, when your business is complete, etc., and you're out of soap and TP? I don't know what it's getting like in your geographical area but, it would be prudent to get your items you need while they still can be found.

Don't have a clue how this will turn out but; I can predict the nature of many people and what they will probably do and when. Been there - done that. I believe panic buying is just starting, and this could be a prelude to something as a nation this generation has never experienced.

Here where I am at the big supermarkets are being picked dry of stuff, but the smaller stores like dollar general are not....Yet.... Also places that you do not think of for buying Toilet paper like Home depot have plenty in stock while Sam's club and Costco were out. I Figure once this run on TP has run its course the normal supply will be restored and there will be an over abundance of TP as people will be using their hoarded supplies for some time.

Fear is a strong motivator and doing things out of fear is not always the best thing. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7

There's also a secular harbored fear in me of my wife running out of toilet paper, and what and where I'll have to do and go to prevent breaking out our neighbors corn cobs in his field :D

The Lord God is where he has always been, that is watching over all creation and situations.  What exactly is your question, you need to amplify it a bit.

Malachi 3 King James Version (KJV)

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Why cant God give clue as to the medicine ?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
