This thread is mainly about updates to people from all over to describe the situation in their part of the world or country.  It is not for fear mongering or such, but as this situation is live, we can get a general idea of how people lives are being affected and are their goods and services available to them.

I just went out to get some fruits and maybe pickup a few cans of whatever that can be last for a while on the shelve at home.   Well all the toilet paper are gone. Yesterday there were places that you can still find the expensive brands around, but they are all gone and the bleach and hand sanitizes are disappearing too.

Some grocery and vegetables I see are not restocked as yet and well I guess will have to wait till my next visit to see the updates.  Don't know if this is a panic buying and things will eventually return to near normal as people can only horde so much .   This is in my little quarter in Toronto, where the virus spread is starting to pick up pace.

Lets hear how you are doing and your shopping supplies availability.

Went to a store this morning. Long lines waiting for opening time. No beans and staff were rationing folk. Uk is going to be tough soon when we are woken up from our muddling stupor...  If they close the pubs, there will be riots I would say...

Hope not, we will be in prayer.

One thing that stands out and which I am thankful for is, so far the prices are the same for everything and has not been increased .  I am thinking though, the laws of supply and demand would eventually command price increase and I would see that as not good.  I think the next step is for the authorities to issue quotas if things start to get out of hand.

Hope your local law makers are taking the right steps to ensure goods are provided or avaliable for all to purchase on equal status and not for people to continue to horde as if they would never run out .  I can see also a form of gluttony take shape if goods remain on the grocery and people has to use their stuff before expiry.  Ah well, let's keep our minds with prudent reason.

There's a historical and predictable pattern that's unfolding once again if this continues or gets worse. Next step; price gouging, looting, rioting and government intervention. In any crisis there's a law of supply and demand: steal it before someone else steals it.

The criminals look for excuses to riot and loot Scott free, we've seen it on a number of occasions in the cities in our generation. People in poverty and people living in depressed areas can not or will not make any preparations. The general population already has the mentality of, use owes me". The unscrupulous manufacturer / retailer looks to make a killing by price gouging, regardless of the law.

Evidently, the city of angel's still has their 'Angel Soft' toilet paper. If the intensity of this increases and comes to fruition:

I heard from a video clip that there are line up for people buying guns in the USA now.  Is this true in your area ?.   True prppers are the ones that have and own land in the bush and have all kind of traps and schemes to protect their camps from intruders by all means.

City preppers stock their shelves with dry goods and can food and have lassie as watchman.  Some may have an AK something that they have not fired in years and not sure if they still could.

Anyway keep the news coming in as to your local area situation, as with internet social media and sites like this, we can get an honest feel of things out there. Mainstream media comes with the same rhetoric over and over again with people who withhold information.

No!  Christians will feel the call ( already have been) and lead of God the Holy Spirit and will go about sharing of whatever they have, giving thanks to God for whatever they have that they might share in the name of our Lord Jesus.

Praise God for the opportunity before us that are bond-servants of Jesus to already be listening and preparing to help one another ,our local communities,States, and country. All to the glory of God the Father.

Father we hear your word and prepare in prayer and praise;

Luke 21: 25-

The Coming of the Son of Man

“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,  people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.  And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

And he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.  As soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near.  So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.  Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet.  And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him."
