You are relentlessly denying the Cross and replacing it with the theology of keeping yourself save by your works.

This is not the Truth, and you should not teaching such strong Legalism, or any type of Legalism, on a Christian Forum.

Reader,

Have you noticed that a Legalist always quotes a verse that is not related to something deceitful that they are trying to prove, to attempt to cause harm to real Christians?

I see this so much on Christian Forums.  Its truly a compulsion these people have, that is not of God.

For example., if a Grace Rejector, who is a Cross rejector,  is trying to ruin a real Christian Faith, by teaching the LIE that "salvation can be lost",  they will will use Scriptures that have no relation to the lie they are trying to teach.

Understand that to teach that you can lose a GIFT OF GOD, is to try to teach that Salvation is not a Gift, and "the gift of Righteousness" is not a Gift.  So, a person who is this type of Legalist, has an incredible dislike and disregard for the Blood Of Jesus, and the Cross Of Christ.  And that is why they will not accept it, and try to replace it with works, and self effort, and  various scriptures they twist and misuse against the very Grace of God, itself.

There are several examples of people, besides the two I have given who were saved, had their names in God's book and  turned to sin, lied to God and were lost. Accusing me of twisting plain simple easy to understand scriptures is a work which a work against the Grace of God. So, I will give no more examples, maybe you might find them yourself, if you study His Word thoroughly.

There is no verse in the Bible, that says or implies.... "these men who were born again, and had their names written in the Lamb's book of life, were removed from the book, and sent to Hell after they were born again and have Christ in them...".

You are creating fiction, pretending its Truth.   The best you can invent, is to take a verse that talks about someone like Demas, or you can twist "depart from me I never know you"< or you can maybe try to squeeze some heresy out of Ananias & Sapphira, by trying to say that the fact that they died, means they were lost.

Here is your problem.  You don't understand the basics of Salvation. You have no idea its a Free Gift.  So, that is why you are trying to save yourself, instead of trusting in Christ to keep you saved.

Try to understand one thing...  Salvation is Eternal, and is not affected by behavior.  And that is because its only based on JESUS.  God accepts us because of HIM, and not because of what we do..

"FAITH, is counted as righteousness"......NOT WORKS< or sin confessing.

Hello again, so much truth put forth, as far as I am learned, you seem to have a pretty decent understanding of the not I but Christ truth.

But I’m still a little confused over exactly what you are reckoning dead?

Are you reckoning yourself dead to those inward thoughts, desires, and tendencies that you find still in yourself or are you reckoning dead those thoughts that come to you that would push you toward sin?

Are you reckoning yourself dead,  or are you reckoning those thoughts dead?

I can’t quite make out the answer to this question.. I believe scripture puts forth the former rather than the latter... But you are being taught inwardly by God Himself so I wish you an increase in Christ in you and may God fulfill all work and word in you..

A friend and fellow believer, Not me

LOL, won't it be wonderful when all this misunderstanding is long forgotten?  Ok, let me say this. Does a dead man have thoughts?

Where does the strength of sin come from ? The law, right? To the Jew, this is the Mosaic law. But to the gentile, it is the inner law inside us  delineating right and wrong.  Our inner moral compass. We try to livecup to it, but we fail.

How dees a man get freed from the law? We are told the law has authority over us as long as we love, amen? Therefore, there is only one way to get freed from the grip of sin. We have to die.

Now, logically, once a man dies in this world, he does not sin any longer. But is that our fate. Must physical death do for us what the indwelling Christ cannot?  Praise God, no! When Christ died, we are told that so did we! What does that mean for us?

Since we are out from under the law, i.e.  the rules of our inner God-given moral compass, sin has no authority over us any longer. Our nature is a new nature, Christ's nature inside us.  That is why we are told to put ye on the Lord Jesus  Christ.  Our new nature starts out as a  small but pure seed, but what a seed it is!  in it is everything needed to grow from a mustard seed up into a giant oak.

What are we told. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit. Do we war against bad fruits that start to appear? No. We lay the axe to the root of the tree itself, our old nature. By faith, we declare that traitor dead, no longer us. Thus, any thoughts that  come that are not godly ones are sent from the enemy, trying to get us to lower our shield of faith.

Could God prevent the thoughts? Absolutely! But He chooses to use them as opportunities to exercise our faith. That is why He tells us to count it all joy when we fall into diverse temptations. Why? Because our faith is tried.... exercised....and the result? Praise God it grows!

And what is the vehicle by which God has allowed the temptations to come? Our fleshly bodies! We still have fleshly bodies, even though we no longer have fleshly spirits. We are spirit beings, light beings, housed temporarily in tents of flesh. Satan tries to use them against us, hoping we believe the thoughts he plants there, those accusations and temptations, are seen as US. They are not.

So what do we do? We keep our bodies under. They are not us. They are simply what we temporarily live in. We bring not only every action, but yes, even every thought into obedience to Him. How? By faith, believing it is no longer the old us that live, but Christ who now lives in us.

This is how we are transformed from glory to glory, by continuing in the faith, shields of faith raised high.

I hope this helps.

You are a blessing, my brother.

One has a better chance of not being their fathers child, than for one to lose their salvation and for the same reason...

My thoughts and two cents worth..

But all this would be self evident if one discovers why Paul was accused of preaching a gospel of let us do evil that good may come..

For truth does exist, no shades or shadows or opinions..

To God do we go for light, Not me

@Gideonsaid: I am saying a Christian with newness of life CAN lose his salvation IF he chooses to ignore the warnings that are scattered  throughout the entire New Testament.

So your teaching renders down to this one simple thing: you teach people that its is their own works that save them or keep them saved.

That it is the efforts of 'man' that keeps an individual that God Himself took out from the first Adam and placed 'into Christ' where his life is "hidden in Christ with God".--God that keeps him in that safe place 'In Christ' 'In Heaven' and that an absence of his works will remove such a one from that safe place where God Himself hid away that one.

The Cross of Christ teaches us that we died 'In Him' and rose 'In Him' and ascended 'In Him'.

This is a matter of history--it happened-- and you are teaching these saints of the most high God that the work of the Cross is reversed. That the free Gift of Salvation paid for by God Himself at the highest price possible is taken away, by the one that paid so dearly for it and gave by His loving Grace.

That His sons, who He adopted into His very own family, will-- because they don't do what you say they should do---will be made non-sons. That He will give them back to Lucifer.

IS this what you are teaching and planting into the minds of those reading?

Sigh. You misunderstand at every level, even down to the very core, of what I am sharing. Seeking God to keep us from falling is not keeping oneself from falling. The only consolation I have with such gross misunderstanding of what I share is that in the end, all His sheep will be in agreement. I cannot wait, lol.

Be blessed.

"we no longer have fleshly spirits"?

What is this fiction you are teaching, now?

Listen, we had a DEAD spirit, not a fleshy one, fella.

The reason we need it to be BORN AGAIN, is because its DEAD and needs a BIRTH.

Wow.  Your theology is seriously self invented fiction.

Ok, you don’t have to answer the question. But I think it might help in your walk with Christ if you were to inquire of Him exactly what it is you are to reckon dead..

No Gideon--I understand perfectly. I have heard this many times before. You--exactly--you. I know you because I have seen you before. All of the fine talk about moving deeper into the Lord and being prepared for what is coming, etc.---you strip it all away and underneath it is one thing and the result of that one thing.

Ishmael trying to live and offer something of value to God of his own doing in order to have Salvation. This is the offering of Cain.

You do not understand the Cross of Christ. You do not understand what Grace is and what it means to be 'In Christ'.

I gave you a history lesson--the Cross.

(Alive),  has actually understood that you are trying to teach wild fiction as truth on a Christian Forum.

You are teaching that we had "fleshy spirits" before we were born again.

You are teaching that we can lose our salvation, in nearly every post and Thread you write.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
