I think as a nation (and the UK) we need to grow a spine and not moan like all the others do. We should bring courage and endurance, and if we fall, we fall TRIUMPHANT.

    IN regards to Isaiah 18 this is just an excerpt from a Matthew Henry Commentary,I only post this because many(like Sonshine) see it as America

That was against the army of the Assyrians which rushed in upon Judah; this is against the land of Assyria itself, which lay beyond the rivers of Arabia, that is, the rivers Euphrates and Tigris, which bordered on Arabia Deserta. Whether this refer to the Ethiopians waging war with the Assyrians, or the Assyrians with Judah, it teaches us, 1. That a people which have been terrible from their beginning, have made a figure and borne a mighty sway, may yet become scattered and peeled, and may be spoiled even by their own rivers, that should enrich both the husbandman and the merchant. Nations which have been formidable, and have kept all in awe about them, may by a concurrence of accidents become despicable and an easy prey to their insulting neighbours.

Personally,like Justin I do not see America anywhere in Revelation or any Prophecy.....I would think that is rather fitting for the Title of this Thread......the Great Nation that was founded on Biblical Principle,the Christian Nation,the Nation Called by HIS NAME.....what happened? its very sad to watch America turn from God(the Nation,not us)

The LORD God, Creator of heaven and earth created every single one of us, right?   Does it even make sense that the United States of America, the greatest superpower in the history of the world, would be left out of end-time biblical prophecy?  In the scripture below, it seems that Isaiah was looking across the Atlantic and seeing a beautiful land with spacious skies! 

Isaiah 18:

18 Alas, oh land of whirring wings
Which lies beyond the rivers of ^[a]Cush,
² Which sends envoys by the sea,
Even in papyrus vessels on the surface of the waters.
Go, swift messengers, to a nation ^[b]tall and smooth,
To a people feared ^[c]far and wide,
A powerful and oppressive nation
Whose land the rivers divide.
³ All you inhabitants of the world and dwellers on earth,
As soon as a standard is raised on the mountains, you will see it,
And as soon as the trumpet is blown, you will hear it.

Like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”

from a long time back ,   well six or so years ,   these words came to me .     And you feel free to pray about it and figure it out .  

The eagle who has built her nest high above all ,   shall come crashing down , her eggs and her children shall see sudden destruction .  FOR SHE HAS SAID I AM and there is none beside me .

THERE is no power as mine .   BUT IN AN HOUR she shall be desolate .    YOU pray about that .    NOT sure what it means .      But i think i might know , just not sure .
