Just a question..what do you mean by,understand scripture.

secondly,..I " now" have the faith to believe,I won't catch the coronavirus ....isn't our walk with God,about believing and trusting him........for me that didn't work overnight....it takes time to build that trust......

for instance, last year,I wouldn't of had the faith that I have today.....who increased it?.........we are all learning and will do so,until the day we die,I believe.

thank you....

This dear precious sister has articulated exactly what I'm trying to, it seems in a very ineffective way, ...of what I have learned about faith, ...over these 29 years of walking "in" faith with my God isolated in a third world country.

Beloved, ...we war not against flesh and blood, ...each other, ...but against principalities and powers in high places, ...please, ...in the Love of Christ, ...stop and consider "why" the enemy of our souls is instigating this fighting among ourselves, ...because He always fights against the TRUTH!

Can't you see he has hijacked this thread from what my original intention of posting was?

The just walk by faith...

Yes, ...I'm considered a freak by most of the brothers and sisters, ...but I "can" tell you what I have "learned" about faith and walking "in" faith for these last three decades with our Father, ...you've all seen the cartoon of the man marooned on an island leaning against one lone coconut palm, ...that's is exactly my situation here, a despised "rician,"

...what would you do, ...if you were stuck on a "spiritually" deserted island, ...with no way of surviving unless Father intervened in your life and provided basic physical needs, ...food, clothing, shelter (even if it was only a bench with a roof over it), work, ...and spiritual needs, ...no communication with the outside world for ten long years (could you last ten years cut off from your church, no brothers and sisters to talk to, to ask advice, to worship our God with, ...one person on a barren island in the middle of the South Pacific?

The just walk by faith, ...God's kids "must" walk by faith, ...otherwise like Peter they "start" to sink, ...into the circumstances of world around them.

Faith is like a muscle, it must be exercised or otherwise it will atrophy!

Father has given us faith to "believe" Jesus is our salvation Eph 2:8, now we must go on and strengthen our faith, ...not "build" our faith like the false teachers promote, ...faith comes from God, all we can produce is presumption, ...we use that mustard seed size of faith given to us at the beginning of our birth, ...being a born again new creation in Christ, and we "work" it, "strengthen" it, like our sister Flowersun has said and experienced.

So why not, during this time of your "forced" isolation, ...do like I did and turn to Father, your "personal" God as your "only" hope in/on this "man-made" island of crisis/pandemic?

Beloved, ...ask Him if Psalms 91 is His promise to you personally...

IN Christ's Love,

 Lord bless

I don't wear a mask when I go out. I have several varieties stashed away. I won't wear one unless a virus is airborne and COVID=19 is droplet.

My cousin is a Born Again Believer, she lives in NY.....she didn't do anything foolish or walk around as if she was immune to Covid19 but still she simply stands on Gods Word & Trusts Him(Believing she would not get it)and she caught the virus, nearly died but did not(Praise Jesus) and now she's been donating her plasma......you don't know what God May use for His Glory.......

I have no doubt that God Will use some to go out to do this & that and if that is What He Has Instructed you to do,do it.....Born Again Believers should be walking inS pirit & in Truth "in RELATIONSHIP" with our Heavenly Father in Christ..... Personally,I am lead to be right here & NOT to do the things I normally do

So Brothers & Sisters, what God Has FOR YOU is for YOU,please stop telling people they are "wrong" for walking THEIR walk with God                                                      With love-in Christ<kwik

Exactly!!!

Praise the Lord!!!

My online church in France asked for prayer for two missionaries, one a man and wife and the other a couple with three children who had all contacted the virus, ...France is a very closed and Catholic country to the Gospel, ...with many confessors "only," ...huddled terrified in their homes.

Father "allowed" them to be stricken, just like He did with Job, .........and then He healed them, ...you better believe the people are listening to them now, ...rather than their cold, dead religion, ......and when this quarantine is over the Lord will plant two new Churches in France!  PTL

Yes we obey the government where we live, ...but we also cry out in our hearts for Father to use us during these last waning moments to spread the Gospel and help people before He calls us home.

Jesus said, The harvest is plenty, but the harvesters are few,"

The Holy Spirit is telling us the whole world is terrified of death from this virus...

Heb 2:15  and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  Heb 2:15

What an opportunity to be used by our Father to share the good news!

We went into quarantine on a Friday night, ...Monday morning Father provided me with an unlimited work pass, ...that means the Haute Commissionaire himself, the highest French governmental authority on the island, ...has given me his "authority" to move about during this quarantine, ...just like the Gendarme, police and first ponderers, ...believe me I use it for work, ...but more important, ...we help the needy, feed the poor and tell them how much Jesus loves them, ...using the same spiritual principle He used, ...we can't teach anyone until they first know we love them.

Praise the Lord for your cousin, ...just imagine how she can tell those in the medical field how Jesus healed her, ...her rewards will be many at the Bema Seat.

This brings up the subject of listening to Father, ...none of us wants to catch the virus and we each need to ask Him Him personally what His Will, ...will be for is, ...I asked Him and He said, "No my child, ...you will not be affected by this virus, ...go and do the work I have provided for you."

Yes we rest in His promise, ...but we also ask Him how He wants to "use" us during this time of world distress.

Ya'll are stuck in your homes, ...but the internet is the way to reach people, ...why not ask Father if there is someone you know that He has prepared their hearts through this crisis, ...to receive the Gospel?

Lord bless and keep you

As for myself I'm not troubled by this virus. Why? The Life which was given to me by Jesus Christ is definitely not my own. It pleased the Lord to spare my life so that His works might be displayed in me, a man who walked in darkness and wandered aimlessly until the Good Shepherd claimed me as His own. The Lord gives and He takes and so the lesson His Spirit instills in me now is "count it all as joy." The scripture is manifested in my life:

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

Absolutely. I've already died. Why should a virus bother me? I'm going home someday. Hopefully when I've got six great grandchildren... surrounded by my family, in peace. (I'm only 50 now, and only have one grandchild).

Funnily enough - we received a parcel of 500 masks yesterday, from a lovely Christian we know in China. We told her we didn't need them, but she's insisted. We're passing them all on to people who believe they need them. And keeping a few back for ourselves, as there is a requirement under certain circumstances to have a mask.

Didn't read the many pages of posts, maybe someone covered this?

Actually the masks don't protect you from the virus.   Masks protect others from you, if you have the virus.

Here's a recent find by The Lancet Microbe, ...a monthly journal committed to publishing content relevant to clinical microbiologists worldwide, with a focus on studies that advance clinical practice, challenge the status quo, and advocate change in health policy.

THE Covid 19 virus has the longest lifespan on the outside surface of surgical masks, ...for seven days, ...the longest of any surface the virus contacts, ...those masks the world has been duped into wearing!

So when you removed the mask did you scratch that itch on your nose, ...before you washed your hands?

I'm still advocating the safest and most secure place during this man made pandemic is for God's children making "our" refuge and fortress in that secret place undo the shadow of our Most High God...

We can't give someone the measles if we don't have them...

Lord bless

Thanks for sharing. I had read that as well. A mask can help if the person sick wears one but does little to nothing for those who are healthy. Our state never made it mandatory to wear a mask, if they had I would have put some statement of protest on the outside of it to show people how ridiculous it all was!  Also thank you for declaring your faith in our true refuge and Mighty Fortress. Be it in life or in death I am safe within the hands of my God.

Well, all I can say is this. Due to the horrible outbreak of  75 that quickly escalated to 154 persons in just one of our nursing facilities, thin and ineffective paper masks were handed out to all the residents here and we are mandated to wear them everytime we exit our rooms. They even discourage that now as well. A couple of days ago, one of my favorite ladies whom I admittedly fell for the moment she arrived, gave me a standard issue commonly worn by a good majority of our nurses. And I'm very thankful for it.

God bless you, Patty. I love you.

I do understand those more prone to the virus taking more precautions than others.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
