Or the immature(babes) .....it's funny ,my cousin has just been Born Again last year & every time she phones me worried by a spirit of fear it is because she has just "read" one of the above mentioned......my advice to her is for now to stay focused on the Book of John,Luke,Acts & Pauls letters to the churches....get to know WHO she is in Christ with a solid foundation and in Relationship with God in Christ .....Understanding is by the Power of Holy Spirit

Your advice is sound .....but I think there could be a better way......instead of avoiding certain passages— attack them head-on! Just a little research done in the right place will clear up confusion and put an end to fears so quickly you will slap your forehead and exclaim , “ Wow .....why did I not see that  BEFORE!” Google the scary verses and go to the sites with great Teachers.....check out Andrew Farley...Rene Roland and the best place of all  to get Twisted Scriptures

explained—- “ Escape To Reality”.....explained in a Biblical Way That is simple to see and has an undeniable “ ring of Truth “ to it.......There are explanations for all of that erroneous “ Bad News” That is out there that continues to terrorize sensitive Believers because of simple ignorance.....fight ignorance with knowledge ......do your homework.....rightly divide the Word......prove yourself to be an able Student Of God’s Word......the payoffs for a little research are enormous ! God bless....

Not sure if you understood I am not talking about myself,I'm talking about my cousin who is literally "all over the place"-I do what I can to explain to her what she has read and I make suggestions that she pray & stay focused on where she is at.....I went as far as writing out 27 commentaries ,one for each NT Book so she could have a brief summary of every one & get  better acquainted with who is speaking,to whom ,time frame etc..also bought her a study Bible for beginners......

I hadn't seen my cousin in 3yrs,I had to kick the dust from my feet & basically turn her over to satan because of the volatile relationship before she came to the foot of the cross yet professing to be Christian,it's only a few months ago she called to tell me the GOOD NEWS....it's a very long story but I am simply AMAZED to witness this New Creature in Christ, hungry for Gods Word -still I tread carefully, the explosive old man has reared its head a couple of times & Praise Jesus she Receives the Word when it happens-so I appreciate your input but I'll just handle this one with kidd gloves, lol

I'm thrilled she called to say I was the Living Testimony for her to see, especially through the years of struggling through incurable cancer, the only one that never gave up on her ,always pointed to Jesus and loved her unconditionally-of course all the Glory belongs to God ,its an honor & a privilege to be the one God is using in my beloved cousins life-Praise Jesus! She certainly is a Living Testimony for the Glory of God herself, one step at a time, its been a very long journey

Absolutely Brother....indeed and I wasn't t really addressing you personally although it may have seemed to apply because of our other discussions .....on that note I think I'll take Omegas advice & start a Thread on the Topic if you care to join me there,we've gotten very far off poor Douges Topic and I totally forgot what Thread this is because there is currently 3 different Threads that all seem to be some kind of conglomeration, its way too confusing

But again, its not WHAT is being said, the message is 100% on point, its the how it is being said that I don't like to see...I'm not saying sugar coat anything but it needn't be hostile or forceful,I don't believe we can force Gods Word on anyone...

So shall we get back on Topic please?I think we both explained the timeline of Peters preaching in comparison to Pauls etc...etc pretty well to show why it was different before Peter himself Received Gods Word through Paul...

The believing remnant scattered into other countries, will be all gathered together, to form one nation, one fold; Israel and Judah will be one nation.

Sure, we can get it back on the Thread's topic, but you responded to me with some commentary that i'd like to address.

First i dont think you are speaking directly to me, when you are referring to as what i'll describe as "hostile tone" that can often occur here on Worthy.

But, on the other hand, if God is inside Real Believers as the Holy Spirit/// and this Holy Spirit is attacked and agitated by zealous hyper religious people who would seek to reject the Grace of God by speaking against it thru their Cross denying " gospel of works."..., then i can promise you that the one thing that offends Christ is this very situation.  He is OFFENDED. The Holy Spirit is OFFENDED.  So, there is no way on Earth or in the universe that you can mix Grace rejecting theology with Gospel Truth on any "Christian" forum and have Peace on that forum..

Can't really understand the spiritual logic or natural logic of someone saying...>"well, yeah, people here ARE lying against the Grace of God, so, the rest of you believers respect them,  and listen carefully.

God does not require that.   God's loves is not to be abused by trying to force it to love... under threat of being banned.... what harms believers and what rejects Grace.

That's reality.   Listen...protecting God's children is to prevent them from being confused and worse by the teaching of heresy.  So, you dont protect them by allowing it.   You protect them by stopping it.

There is only one way to be saved. And so one gospel only. Its christ being preach on the cross dead. If you dont hear that christ Jesus was put to death on the cross then it's not the gospel of grace. And it must be preach he rose from the dead. We are at peace with God only through the blood of christ Jesus.

It's only through the forgiveness of sins by the blood of christ Jesus we are given the holy spirit and renewed to life. The holy spirit is our guarantee that we will inherit the kingdom of God. And the holy spirit is our guarantee we will receive immortal bodies at his coming. New immortal bodies and a new heaven and earth.

This is the gospel and not by works of righteousness that we have done. But by the blood of lamb. The lamb of God is worthy !

I knew it was not you that you we’re talking about....

What a great story! And, of course all the Glory goes to God....

When you talk about “ the Honor and Privilege” of being used by God......I know where you are coming from....There is Nothing Better in the World........God has blessed you......may He continue to do so.....

If peter and Paul preach different gospel then one cannot be right.

Not so, they were both ordained of God. The gospel of the kingdom was set aside until the tribulation.

When Paul went and preached in Jewish synagogues, he preached the same as Peter and used the same OT Scriptures.  But when he went and preached to the Gentiles, he didn't use the OT Scriptures, but took the same line as he did when he preached to the Greeks in Athens.  It is the same gospel in either case, but different ways of presenting it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
