Qui tacet consentire videtur.

Latin for "He who does not respond appears to give consent."

Atheists and Leftists  lie constantly and their lies must be exposed, for the sake of the youth of the world, and the confused, the uneducated, the gullible.  It is not our jobs to change people's minds. It is our jobs, however, to present them with the truth, for their own benefit.

You never know where your ripples will travel.  At least others have a differing point to consider than the lies that are so prevalent.

1.  Socialism is based on the sin of covetousness.  Leftists pit "the rich" against "the poor" and portray the former as heartless - an abominable lie.

2. Demeaning claims of racism, by Leftists against conservatives, is a sin, bearing false witness against thy neighbor.  It is demeaning for the Left to pretend that minorities need their benevolence and lies, putting them into colleges for which they do not qualify, to name but one example, and pitting black against white for purely political purposes, as Leftists do constantly.

3.  Abortion is a sin of murder. "Before you were conceived in the womb I knew you."  That growing child will, if not murdered, become an adult child of god, instead of this helpless infant, with unique DNA, from father and mother.  Why does the father have no rights, to have and hold and raise his own child?  What if four grandparents want to raise their grandchild and love it!

I could go on with the sins of the Left and the godless, but you get the picture.  Homosexuality - a grievious sin which results in shortened life spans, greatly increased incidences of suicide and mass murder (John Wayne Gacey, Randy Kraft, etc).

I do not really debate. I just read and see if there be any good and worthwhile thing to comment. I like truth and do a lot of study. The more I think I know, the more I know I do not know.

It is for the sake of those who have questions or are afraid to say much; that is mostly why I make comments.

"He will not suffer a bruised reed to be broken, nor extinguish the dimly burning wick".

We crawl before we walk.. we walk before we run.

The reason a believer ends up as a theological misfit, is because they ran before they were rooted.   They lept before they were grounded.

The reason someone is saved 89 years and can't understand the basic principle of God's GRACE.... is because they didn't start out with Grace.

You have to lay the foundation before you build the house.   Many are a  BIG house, yet without a foundation.

Many can recite the bible by memory, and can't explain "justification by faith", can't understand "Jesus has OBTAINED ETERNAL REDEMPTION For Us".

They read..."we have PEACE WITH GOD, having been justified by Faith", and have no clue.....might as well be reading Martian.

You have to start HERE:   Hebrews 13:9. ... to BEGIN your journey entitled..."Rightly divide the word"...

I realize that many of the debates I have with people on this site is pointless. No one ever seems to change what they believe to be true no matter what facts, or scripture is shown to them.  But the reason why I continue to debate topics is to take a stand against things that I do not agree with. I know that I am not going to change the mind of the person posting the thread.  But other people read this stuff. People who may not post or just wonder in here and read stuff. If someone is saying something that I believe to be false, and no one says anything about it. Someone reading it might think it is true.  And be lead astray. Maybe if they see others are questing the post. Then they can read through the replies and see why a post is not lining up with the word of God or whatever it maybe. That is why I debate topics that I feel need to be debated. :)

Everyone has an opinion. I usually state my Christian opinion but I rarely go back to one topic numerous times and want to get the last word in. I do not get frustrated if a person does not embrace my opinion.

Debates are not designed to change the mind of the debaters, though that does happen from time to time, but are for the audience.  They listen, take in the information, ponder what they heard and come to their own conclusion.  I believe that most of the time the audience ends taking from both side what they believe is true and discard what they see as false.

I prefer an honest discussion, though that is very hard to find these days with all the twisting and misrepresentation taken place lately.   Even an honest heated discussion can bring forth deep truths that can change the minds as a true discussion does not happen with a closed mind.

Here is what i do.....I see a forum as a place where a new believer can be harmed or helped....so, i notice who is here who can ruin a New Believer's faith,  and i deal with that person......not to try to change them, as they've already decided not to hear me, as im not of "their side" theologically speaking.....So  i push against them to HIGHLIGHT THEM, for the sake of a new christian who showed up here today, or yesterday, or next Friday = who has no ability to discern, yet, who are the harmful  vs who are of the TRUTH.

I DO.....I know how to see you because i can hear what you believe.

So, Im here to protect them......and thats is what i do, and i also write Threads to try to help sincere believers find their way out of self effort failure, and into the dominion of Grace.

"well behold, how do you know you are right'.........its because i never tear down the Cross with my theology.  I never deny that the Blood of Jesus can't keep you saved.  I never defy the Grace of God with a poisonous theology of "self saving".    I only lift up Jesus, and i only  lift up the Cross while i watch those who never do this, can't do it, and wont.

And someone says...>"well i lift up the Cross".....and then you tear it down by teaching that the Cross and the Blood of Jesus can't keep you saved......

So, pretty simple..  its easy to spot the harmful vs the Truth.

Really?

Actually what happens is that people pick their side, and they support it, no matter what.

Its a rare person who is found on a "C" forum who does not have a group they enlist with to "fight the other side".

So, can we just get real?........ Why pretend. ?

So, who is really listening through all this pride?

A great example of how a debate works.  ^

There can be no discussion with someone who has their mind already set  and refuses to even consider what someone else is saying.  Notice first a challenge, the he presents his case, and makes an ending statement.  No room for discussion, only a stage set for a debate.  Perfect framework of someone who declares "I am right and you are wrong".

Many times when I have participated in a debate my opinion goes no where. The person just goes on and on ignoring what I have to say and defending their opinion on the subject. It gets frustating so I step down.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
