Here in NY and NJ we're having a lot less new Covid cases while many south western states are seeing an increase. I'm not sure why but I know we virtually closed down NYS, almost everyone wears masks, and we are keeping 6' between people in most places. My supermarket even put tape on the floor indicating where the 6' mark is as we wait to get our food purchases rung up. I've also noticed almost no one is using cash, just another precaution to take. It looks like that with the Lord's help our efforts have been rewarded. Our businesses are opening up and as long as we keep doing the precautions we shouldn't see a major spike in cases. Therefore I say precautions works.

I'm not sure if the people in the states with the increases have been following the precautions but if you folks haven't been I think you should. When you hear your local hospitals say they are going to run out of ventilators and ICU beds unless the new cases slow down, you better listen to them. That's what happened up here in the NE.

1 Peter 2:[11] Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
[12] Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
[13] Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
[14] Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
[15] For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
[16] As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
[17] Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
[18] Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
[19] For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
[20] For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
[21] For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
[22] Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
[23] Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
[24] Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

I live in arizona, one of the current hotspots in the nation.

We shut down with everyone else march. In mid to late may, we started opening up again. Stores have curbside pickup. Restaurants have delivery and take out options. Social distancing is being followed for the most part. Masks are mandatory in certain cities and towns in my state as of last week. Many folks were using them prior to that time.

Two things happened just prior to the big outbreaks: 1) the protests/riots and 2) hitting the river and lakes when temperatures hit 100. It is possible that the outbreak in yuma can also be attributed to the illegals crossing into the us in that sector. There has been a high incidence in mexico and among those crossing in from mexico from the virus.

Got to be careful when posting this stuff. Its getting them to tell you how many new "deaths" Like where I am. "a new hot spot" and more cases.. more going to hospital. You get 3/4 down and "granted the death rate keeps going down". So here were not seeing more deaths at al. Yet you really have to dig to find out.

In arizona, Im looking at hospitalizations and icu numbers. Today the hospitals had to go to their surge plans, meaning its dire. Typically at this time of year, hospitals in my state are fairly empty. Now they have more patients than beds and they sent home patients that normally need to remain in the hospital.

I personally think the riots and protests are what caused it to soar back up in my state. We were on a downtrend until then after previously being named the fastest growing area of CoVid cases.

Good, I hope those are the numbers the governors are looking at. Truthfully, as we increase random testing the total number of cases will soar but that's not what's important. New cases coming into the hospitals and especially the number of cases that need to go in ICU or on a vent, that's how we'll know if we caused a spike with our foolish behaviors.

This is truly going to become a new normal. Hey maybe it will be a more moral normal.

Oklahoma has gone up and we are not testing more.   the rise lines up with us opening up and people not wearing masks as a whole.  we'll see if the rally has an effect in a week or so as we give it time for the incubation to occur.  we leveled off after the initial and when we opened things up the new daily cases went up about 350%.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
