Yes, indeedy. You're obviously getting upset but please keep a civil tone and a sense of humour.

The great Pharisaical Sabbath keepers at the time of John the Baptist and Jesus were as mean as snakes in search of food, as blind as Zedekiah in Babylon, and as hypocritical as the two-faced mythological Roman Janus. They plotted against our Saviour whilst enforcing the Sabbath with great displays of piety, and after His crucifixion carried on their legalism without a clue as to the real Sabbath of which the 7th day is a type and shadow. 

These Pharisees held themselves up as keepers of God's Laws but their High Priests were not legitimate and had not been of the Aaronic line since Jason sold out and was replaced by a political opponent, Menelaus.

Antiochus accepted the offer and further allowed Jason to build a gymnasium in Jerusalem and create a Greek-style Polis named after the king, Antioch.^[2]

With the creation of Antioch, Jason abandoned the ordinances given under Antiochus III the Great, which defined the polity of the Judeans according to the Torah.

Jason's time as High Priest was brought to an abrupt end in 171 BCE when he sent Menelaus, the brother of Simon the Benjamite, to deliver money to Antiochus. Menelaus took this opportunity to "outbid" Jason for the priesthood, resulting in Antiochus confirming Menelaus as the High Priest. Jason fled Jerusalem and found refuge in the land of the Ammonites.^[3]

In 168 BCE Jason made a failed attempt to regain control of Jerusalem. Fleeing again to Ammon, he then continued to Egypt, then finally to Sparta, where he died and was buried.^[4]

Indeed and well said, @Michael37. I wasn't aware of the shenanigans of September, 1752, so I got a kick out of that. 

Those who intend upon keeping the shadow of substance signified by the 7th day should be careful to follow the appropriate calendar so they aren't observing something corrupted by man's influence. Care must be taken to avoid any calendar influenced by Rome which, of course, rules out the calendar used by the majority of the western world. A Hebrew calendar would be called for but once again, care must be taken to avoid the current iteration tainted by Babylonian influence.
