The Jezebel Spirit and the Rapture

I know there are spirits out there that I don't the names of. This "Jezebel Spirit"  Jezebel was a real .. no clue why how she became a spirit/demon what every you want. Oh heard of the judas spirit. No where in the word is she ever called a spirit.

See over the years I have seen,heard this "Jezebel" spirit to control women way to many times.  "We are shown that the spirit of Jezebel in the church does not want to repent." Sorry where is that written? In Rev Christ was not talking about a spirit.. He gave her time to repent. "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not." yeah.. not a spirit to repent not a Church but her.

I think it stems from the behaviour of Jezebel in Elijah's time. John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah and his activity bears that out, and people that behave like Jezebel are said to have a Jezebel spirit for that reason, not necessarily being possessed of a demon but certainly influenced by the demonic realm. We can chafe about some terminology all we like without it ever changing, sometimes.

(17) And he shall go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to walk in the wisdom of the just; to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.

We will have to agree to disagree. There is nothing in the Bible that says men will be taken up after the the Millennium. After the Millennium the planet is destroyed by fire and the Lord makes a new heaven and earth. The hearts of the people were not changed after Enoch, Elijah  were taken up. Moses died as the scriptures say. Esdras' prophecy is referring to the prophecy in Revelation 11, when the two witnesses, the individuals who represent the 144, 000 Philadelphian remnant are taken up. When they go up, so does the remnant, those who have not tasted death, but possess the spirit of a martyr because they are willing to die for Christ. The two witnesses represent the spiritual conditions of the churches who receive no correction from the Lord, Smyrna and Philadelphia, who is promised to be kept from the hour that is mentioned  in Rev. 14: 7. After the calling up, we see the 144,000 in heaven in the first part of chapter fourteen before the tribulation, or the hour begins. Previously they are seen in Rev. 9, then in 11.They are taken up before the last trumpet sounds signifying that the tribulation is about to begin. We have to remember that these are visions and the Lord has told us that elements in them are designed to represent other things. Jesus shows John in Rev. 1:20, that candlesticks in the vision represent churches. There is no other application for the word anywhere in Revelation. The two witnesses are candlesticks, representatives of churches (Rev. 11:4).  Again, the point of my post is that the church needs to make sure she is in that Philadelphian category to qualify for the Lord's deliverance from the hour, and not be duplicating the errors of the other five spiritual conditions that would disqualify them from that remnant category.

The unity of the body in regards to salvation does not change. We  are  unified by the cross. But, our blessings have always been contingent upon our obedience. In Revelation's admonishments to the churches, those who have obeyed the Lord are promised protection. Jezebel's followers are promised tribulation unless they repent. The Lord is obviously making a distinction between the obedient and those who are harboring errors that would kept them from being in the Philadelphian category. We are rewarded and blessed according to our works, especially our faithfulness in times of testing. It is a characteristic of the Jezebel spirit to teach that God does not punish, or there are no consequences for sin which is not taught in the scriptures. Therefore Jezebel's pupils are led to believe that they can sin and not suffer for their disobedience.

No, every eye will see Him, the last Trumpet is blown and the rest sees knows, so they mourn, kick themselves for their numerous rejections and opportunities to receive Christ throughout their lives - but they said, no thank you! Then they try to hide or worse yet, turn insane and attempt to gather together and war against Christ. 

We must realize that the Holy Spirit, (The Restrained of evil), is taken out of the way as the Church is, since we are the TEMPLE and at that time, the Temple is opened in heaven. When the Holy and Church is removed, all evil breaks loose. People on earth _ all of a sudden _ turn evil, because there is no goodness/power if the Holy Spirit to restrain it.

At this time, the 7 Bowls of wrath are realesed.

We need to understand that Jesus saw the tribulation beginning when the antichrist is revealed. That is when the devil's wrath is released on all those who will not worship Him. After Jesus sends His angels to gather His elect after this event, then  the fullness of God's wrath ( 7 bowls) falls on the devil's kingdom, Babylon is destroyed and all the plagues that were released in chapter eight come to their fullness affecting 100% of the planet.  The tribulation can't occur until the remnant churches/candlesticks (Rev. 11:4, 1:20) are removed first in chapter 11:12. Then the seventh trumpet sounds signifying the beginning of the tribulation.  That's how I see it anyway.

In Rev. The Lord is referring to an apostate teacher who was real. He gives her the name of Jezebel to illustrate the character of the woman linking her to the Old Testament villainess. This is a woman who was under the influence of a demonic spirit, the same spirit that influenced the first Jezebel.  This same spirit works in the church today to seduce believers away from the truth. Those who are harboring this spirit will not repent.

Jesus said in Mathew 24 that the begging of sorrows would occur prior to His Coming. This includes pestilence (Covid-19), famines ( most likely resulting from plagues of locusts in E. African nations), wars, earthquakes, etc.

Keep in mind, the rider in the White Horse had a crown (corona) and he went out to conquer the world. It didn't say he would destroy of kill many but this pandemic struck the entire world with fear, as if empowered by Satan. It has been surrounded by lies and deception, changing numbers, manipulation, etc. Satan is the father of lies. It can be argued that we are in the beginning of the GT. Other aspects of this pandemic have been our separation from each other, inability to go to church, temporarily, but still, Satan always uses fear and doubt as tools to do his deeds. The Red horse brings war. Is it a coincidence that the virus came from Red China? Imagine if we weaned ourselves off of their products and eventually set a goal to stop doing business with them - difficult as it would seem. It could just be an announcement by Trump. He already blaims them ... maybe he wants to get them back someway - that is his style. That would destroy their economy and result in war!

Some good points. Jesus said the beginning of sorrows would happen before the antichrist is revealed. That is when the tribulation starts according to Jesus who also said that that time would be like nothing the world has seen before. So if you take into consideration all the devastations that earthquakes, pestilences, famines and wars produce (thirty million were killed in world war three), according to Jesus, what is coming is going to be far worse than all of those sorrows combined. This is why He tells us to pray we are worthy to escape. He does not want His people to have to go through this if it can be avoided.
