These Covid-19 vaccines are not safe

There are two vaccines offered here. The Pfizer and the Moderna vaccine. The Moderna vaccine is likely to be the more common IMHO mainly because it doesn't need a -90F freezer to keep it viable like the Pfizer vaccine. Both vaccines are somewhere around 95% effective. I once worked on commercial freezers. I know the difficulty and expense involved in keeping something that cold. Ice cream likes -20 F  and I thought that was cold. 

Unlike some vaccines these are mRNA. I don't understand all of how they work except to say they work to build certain proteins in your body for defense. These proteins apparently kill the virus. The Moderna version is three time larger than the Pfizer version. They both perform the same sorts of things. From what I hear, they both require two shots. This has been an issue for a few because people get one shot and the second one does not become available. Common side effects have been injection site pain, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, and joint pain. 

I am scheduled for the Moderna vaccine when it becomes available here. I would be concerned if getting the Pfizer version that it wasn't kept at -90F the whole time. I mean, if it wasn't would you ever know? Probably not.

Some people have still caught the virus after the vaccination, so it isn't a sure thing. So far as deaths or serious side effect I haven't heard of any. One famous person just died after not long after he got the vaccine. They are saying the vaccine wasn't the cause.

 

The Covid vaccine is not a live virus but it takes a few weeks to become immune to the virus.

Just about everything I've read about the deaths point to the elderly age group as the ones dying after taking the vaccine.  It only seems logical to not encourage them to take the vaccine and warn them of all possibilities if they do.

For me a tad to early to say if this vaccine is not safe. That being said they say "At this time, experts do not know how long someone is protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. The immunity someone gains from having an infection, called natural immunity, varies from person to person. Some early evidence suggests natural immunity may not last very long." To me its going to be just like the flu shot you will get it ever year.

I don't recall ever getting the flu vaccine..not where I place my faith.  My wife always gets the flu. So its ok if you want the shot or don't want.. that's your right...granted it seems to be changing fast now.

We can warn people to not take the vaccine until it is found to be effective and safe.  But people make choices. Sometimes those choices are not the best.

Nothing in this world is "safe".

Taking a shower in the morning isn't safe.  You could fall and be seriously injured.  Driving to work isn't safe.  You be seriously injured or killed in a car accident.  Even after you park your car and begin walking you could be run over by a car in the parking lot.  If you live in certain cities like Seattle or Portland, you could be attacked and killed by evil, hateful people who think they have a cause, or they could just be common thieves.

If you don't get the vaccine, you could get Covid and become seriously ill, and die.  If you do get the vaccine, you could become seriously ill, and die.  If a bee stings you, you could become seriously ill and die.  You could have cancer right now at a microscopic level which is totally undetectable, but will quickly metasticize.  It may have been caused by the air you breathe, the water you drink, or the food you eat.  Unless you stop breathing, and eating, you cannot prevent it.  But asphyxiation and starvation are sure to be deadly.  I accept the risks, and will continue to get out of bed in the morning, take a shower, eat breakfast, go to work, and breathe while doing all of these things.  And Jesus can take me at any time.  After all, he's in control, not me.  And I am clinging to him, not this world.

I will not get the Covid vaccine because I already got Covid in November.  Prior to that time, I prayed to Jesus saying your will be done as to whether I get Covid or not.  When I did get Covid, my prayer was your will be done as to whether I survive it or not.  God is in charge.  Not me.

All you can do is make reasonable choices, and not obsess about them.  One thing is certain...everyone will die.  Even more certainly...everyone in Christ will live forever, even though he dies in this world.  Eternal life with Jesus is more important than this short life in this world.  And he is in control of this world and the next.

I never get flu shots. My last flu shot was in 1986, with the Navy. Since then, no problems. 

As far as C****D, The V.A. has offered to give us vets the vaccine for free, whenever our turn comes around. I'm totally getting that.

I used to get the flu shot until they added H1N1. Little did I know that it was wreaking havoc with my thyroid gland. Every year I'd get flu-like symptoms in my thyroid, called subacute thyroiditis, which in turn caused systemic wide symptoms. They started lasting 3 months and when I quit getting the flu shot my symptoms were lasting 9 months. The after effects lasted 1 to 2 years because I'd go hyperthyroid and then hypothyroid. It was a nightmare in which my thyroid medication dose wasn't stabilized for about 6 years.

After I quit the flu shot my thyroid tests all started to level off finally.

I actually found an article on line about someone else getting subacute thyroiditis from getting the flu shot which contained H1N1.

My only concern is that the vaccine wreaks havoc with my thyroid like H1N1 did.

Not only do they contain aborted human baby cells that they had to extract while the baby was alive, cut into a live baby and take from its kidneys cells, to get alive human cells, so to replicate over and over and over, it also contains animal cells from chimpanzee, rabbit and goat.
