We want the government give-aways to stop. We care about this country and don't want it to go broke. That is bad for everyone. There are programs available for those in need. And by the way, where is the church in all this? What are you doing to help the needy? We donate to several charities and give food donations to our local food bank weekly. If everyone woud do as the Lord commands, we wouldn't have all these problems. I don't think we will go broke. They can tax more heavily those companies who have greatly profitted from the virus. Like Robin Hood taking from the rich and giving to the poor. It is too bad they need to take it by force.

And if we don't pay the higher price, they go out of business and we all loose.

The cost of living varies in different parts of the country and even in the state. Rent in one area may be $500 for a one bedroom apartment and in another it may be $2500. But the income in those areas vary accordingly. Perhaps net worth or at least savings and investments should also be included in the assessment.

Boeing was so heavily taxed in WA state that they moved a large part of their company to another state. The drug companies do need some regulation, such as limiting the cost of the medication in relation to the cost of production. Unscrupulous companies are charging way too much for much needed medication, some life saving. Until regulation happens, the full amount of medications should be allowed to be deducted from tax. That might motivate the govt. to do something about it. No-one with an income of even $100,000 a year should have to pay 20% of it for a single medication.

Other countries pay Boeing for them as does ours. They pay corporate taxes and many other kinds like property taxes.
