Believe on Jesus Christ(who is God). Have faith and trust in Lord Jesus to save you.

You should believe the gospel that Jesus died for our sins and spilled blood washes away our sins, was buried and rose again three days later.

I included the blood of Jesus because it is important. You may want to review what faith and trust mean.

@BelieveonJesus

Some of us believe in immersion water baptism to be saved after we have believed.

For some of us believing is the pathway to salvation, while receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, and being forgiven of our sins Acts 2:38, and being cleansed by the blood of Christ, Hebrews 9:13-14, and in baptism Romans 6:3, that begins the process of gaining eternal salvation by as Paul said, to endure until the end, by running the race, and buffeting our bodies to win the prize of salvation when Christ comes back called the RAPTURE.

Thank you for asking

Not here to argue the point.

Just wanted to answer your question.

Romans 10 9&10 is very plain and simple sounding.

Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.   And you will be saved....     well if you really do believe and Jesus us really your Lord.   I guess another way of saying it if you are not a liar.   The problem if one considers it one, is in Jesus being Lord....   that means we have to do what he's told us to do....   Love the Godhead, love our neighbors, get baptized and a few things we are not supposed to do, and a few things we should....   find some of those in Matthew 25.

I would like to say that it is not works but faith that saves. Water baptism is a work. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

You cannot repent of your sins because we all continue to sin. You can repent which you do when you believe on Jesus and have faith in Lord Jesus to save you.

Is declaring with your mouth that Jesus is Lord a work? I refrain from using the declaration of mouth that Jesus is Lord for this reason in what is required for salvation. The second part of believing Jesus rose from the dead we should all believe.

I think that just because we call Jesus Lord does not mean we have to do what he has told us to do. At least not for salvation. If you are saved and want to follow as best you can what Jesus said to do and not to do then I agree when considering him as Lord.

Jesus commanded us to repent (Matt 4:17).

Can you be saved and not follow what he has told us to do???    If you say no, I think we have an impasse on the discussion.  But that's my point of view.  To say that someone can be saved and not follow his direction seems to be what Lucifer wanted to do    Yep, Jesus is the Son of God and he died for me and the Father raised him from the dead, but I'm going to do things my way.  I don't have to follow his directions...             That just seems way way off to me.

We are saved from the time we bow humbly in our hearts to Jesus as our Creator and confess Him as our Lord.  Then His Spirit comes to dwell in us, we belong to Him and are purchased back from satan's kingdom.  We are then part of God's kingdom.  After That God starts helping us to realize that we are free from bondage to sin and evil.  We are free to serve God.  That is how He continues to save us --by revealing to us our power and spiritual riches that we have in Christ.  In the end time our bodies will be saved and renewed as well when they are rejoined to our souls in Christ' presence.

Rom 10:9  because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10  For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Joh 3:18  He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.]

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
