Are all believers called to do something at all times of their life’s? Eg you might not currently be pursuing a calling but there is always one ahead of you at some point, until God calls us home

There is a path to follow. We have a free will, so there are choices.

Yes. We can and should honor God in our work ethic no matter what we are doing, and "always be(ing) prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you." In this way we are doing something for God's glory and kingdom, even if that thing isn't some special, new ministry calling. Often times we can best reach people just by being around them and witnessing through the mundane things of life.

I think our calling comes into existence when Jesus calls and we say, “Here I am, Lord!”

In following the call of God, we must be sure to obey His instructions in Scripture. When we are faithful to the call to obedience, He can call us to more specific areas (see Luke 16:10).

We have all been given "talents" or something to do. Some of us to do great things, some of us to do small things.  But all of us to do SOMETHING....if we do nothing, the seed of faith dies, and we find ourselves holding nothing
