first of all, all have sinned and acted immorally. And some of us repent continuously as the Holy Spirit cleanses us. And most of us are being sanctified daily. So you will have to show me biblically what your claiming about past immorality disqualifying anyone for any usability for the Kingdom of God and Christ for good.

I don't see any biblical context for what your saying about the anti Christ. The anti christ creates one government to rule over all the nations, a world currency and a world  survalence system. Trump by words and deads is for National sovegrnty, limited government restriction over individuals and our economy.  He is actually an obstical in the way of "The Anti Christ System" resisting the devil and his schemes is our Christian duty.. 

How is giving respect and a position of authority over anyone to those who take tax dollars to shed innocent blood good? If Trumps position to funding abortion saves one innocent life.. Jesus would of suffered the cross for that one.

We have a choice who rules over our Nation. To me attacking a person standing against evil  is no different then the multitude crying to release Barnabbas 

When you only have 2 choices How is hating and labeling a politician against government funding of what is called a deadly sin good? Jesus will avenge the blood of the innocent those involved in their murders have that blood on their hands unless they repent and see it was evil. 

 

The law is there for the lawless. The unspiritual (1 Timothy 1:9). If we are spiritual we are not under the law, but do abide by it, as the law is written in our hearts.

Now back to the politicians who claim to have the answers to rectifying the ills in society, but whose actions are lawless. One of these politicians in particular who shall cast truth to the ground and stomp all over it, who is a vainglorious narcissist, always boasting of how great things will be under him, and is immorally vile (Daniel 11:21), who many currently professing to believe in Christ Christians, shall instead follow.  These individuals are the apostasy who shall fall away (2 Thessalonians 2:3) from believing in what Christ represents, choosing instead to believe in the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11), coming from the man of sin.

 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Let's go in context of the passage you'll pulling from.

1st ... IF you assume that suddenly there is a GREAT falling away from the FAITH in our day, this is a slight error in reading the passage.  Why?  Because from the inception of the Church there has been an attempt to distort the truth!  Read Galatians and Paul's correction to the Galatia church.  Read Corinthians and his correction to the Church in Corinth!  Read 1st John and John's correction of what was known as Gnosticism in his day. 

2nd ... the reason for the GREAT DELUSION is because of their REJECTION of the truth.  

2Th 2:10  and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved. 

2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, 

2Th 2:12  so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned. 

So in context of what has already been written, our job remains the same ... to preach the way, the truth and the life! 

For truly the delusion is coming, but to whom it is coming is another matter!

Antiochus thereafter defiled the Temple and set up an idol therein of himself (since he believed himself to be an incarnation of Zeus). This was a type of what the Son of Perdition is prophesied to do, as we find in 2 Thes. 2:4, immediately after the apostasia of 2:3:

who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called a god or that is worshiped, so that he sits as a god in the naos/sanctuary of God, exhibiting himself that he is a god.

It is one thing for the laity to rebel against the Gospel. But what we are seeing more and more, in sync with the leadership of the current pope, is that the ministers of the Gospel are apostatizing in record numbers.

And for the same basic reasons as did the Aaronic priesthood, when they began to corrupt themselves with the worldly Hellenism of their day: wealth and worldly power, under the guise of religion.

Absolutely ...

This is what I was referencing ... if you notice the Op-Ed remark it was focused on errors in doctrine today, but missing the KEY apostasy to which Paul was referencing in verse 3 -- the MAN OF SIN causing the blasphemy of which Paul is pointing out in the following verses!

When looking at 2 Thes. 2, most people are trying to place the context into today's environment, of which we see the foretelling signs and the true apostasy that is coming!

When Jesus told us in Matthew 24 to understand the abomination of desolation in Daniel ... this is specifically what He is referencing in 2 Thes 2!

We have discription of the anti christ Spirt, the anti christs already at work. And The Anti Christ, Lawless one, son of perdition aka the beast of revelation 13.. 

Not to be confused with the false church, the harlot. And you forgot the most important thing in 2 thess 2. "God" gave them over to deception because they did not "love the Truth". The Greek word used for "love" in the text is "passionate and faithful". They were not passionate and faithful to Christ and The Word. 

The word used in 2thess 2 for Apostasy means a deliberate rejection of revealed truth. 

Man of lawlessness He will be the embodyment of rebellion and rejection of Gods Law. 

Satan tried to give Jesus dominion abd power over the whole world. If He would worship him. Jesus said " it is written you will worship The Lord God only".

The anti chrisr takes this deal worships Satan and is given power and authority over the whole world. He will deny Jesus the Son of God, the messiah has come. He is going to claim to be the messiah. He will be wounded in the head and cone back to life. He is going to hate and be at war with the saints. 

Jesus will destroy him with the brightness of his coming. If our names in the lambs book of life we will not be part of the apostasy. It the christians with fake jesus's they create from verse doctrin, jesus the prophet, jesus the spiritual new age guru like budA, jesus the genie in the bottle, jesus the marxist liberator ect. If you are not passionate about the word of God and you do not hold fast to The Truth that Jesus is the annointed messiah fortold in Scripture. Jesus is the Son of God in the Flesh. Jesus the Lord gave his life on the cross for us, was barried and after 3 days rose from the Grave, ascended to his throne in heaven, sent us The Spirit of truth. 

Jesus said, this is eyetnal life, to know the one true living God and his Son Jesus Christ.. so if you know The truth and hold fast to it. Its the sure way to be protected from the apostacy and God giving you over to deception. We shouldnt worry about the anti christ. Jesus will completely destroy him. Do not assume it; evidence it. Where does scripture state that it describes the antichrist through numerous aliases? Are there example where scripture explicitly connects the antichrist to an alias?

Read the bible Josheb, If the Antichrist only appears in two books, John 1, and John 2, then there are a host of other bad characters who are to appear during these end times. Who do you think the man of sin, who exalts himself above God in 2 Thessalonians 2 is, if not the Antichrist? Who do you think the beasts mouth who speaks great things in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, who is also described as the little horn in Daniel 7, 8  &  11 and 2 Thessalonians 2, who exalts and magnifies is, if not the Antichrist? Yes, from day 1 in the first century AD, the devil has been distorting the truth about the Word, and deceiving the whole world (Revelation 12:9).

There is, however, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3 a falling away (apostasy), to come when the man of sin appears. As such, this would mean that those who fall away,...fall away from faith in what they previously believed. 

It all comes down to whether you believe there is an apostasy to come, or not.

Yes Reinitin, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, the Lord give them over to believing in delusions because they did not love the truth. This is the truth, the little horn in Daniel 8:10 & 12 casts to the ground and stomps all over, who represents the dragons tail in Revelation 12:3, who draws 1/3 of heavens stars and casts them to the earth. So what do you think this truth from the Lords angels to us that the Antichrist casts down and stomps all over is, that will cause many of the currently faithful to fall away from, and choose to believe in the delusions the man of sin (the beasts mouth speaking great things) is?
