Hi Kwik,

I believe God is using different people for different times to get His plan fulfilled ,I  don't think Trump will be back in office but who really knows?

Watch and pray..

Hi Sis- me neither but you are right- who knows!

One thing is for certain, Gods Will will be done no matter who is in office.

Im just always so disappointed when I watch these really good preachers start making all kinds of predictions, giving dates, timelines etc... its such a bad thing when it doesnt come to pass- I never understand why they feel the need to do that when they could leave out the things that dont edify, encourage or do anyone any good...

Gods Word is pretty clear to the prophets( if in fact any of them are prophets).. They should consider what was Given them & if they should share it,what good does it to speak of how many terms a US President will serve? None imo, so why share ... Do you know what I mean?

The end result is bad, a good preacher looks ridiculous, hes no longer credible and Christians seem ridiculous to the world.... uhhhh, just sayin🤔

If one stands and says thus sayeth the Lord, regardless of how it is worded and it does not come to pass…that one is a false prophet.

That is what scripture says. Plain and simple.

Exactly!Amen Brother.....now, when I say" if in fact any of them are a prophet" I'm thinking of what the OP said in reference to the 2020 election..... Seems kind of outrageous but then again so many outrageous things happened in the Bible and I Believe EVERY Word Written!

Still, our responsibility is to hold on to what is good, prove all things & quench not the Spirit

(1 Thess 5:21)   I Believe we all( Born Again Believers) can prophecy by the Power of Holy Spirit at times yet not all are Prophets..... this is where it can become tricky & we must be careful of what we speak..... people can easily mix in their own ideas with what God Has Revealed and then of course it goes terribly wrong.... would I call that person a false prophet? It depends, Im not so quick to pass judgement if I know little about that person or their ministry etc..... Id say they got it wrong for sure but I dont know their Relationship with our Lord- do you agree?

Good discussions so far.

Remember, predictions in Daniel are still not fulfilled, even after thousands of years.  Many undoubtedly have called Daniel's prediction false because they have yet to come to pass.

Perhaps so, but predictions about Trump will come true or fail, in our own lifetimes, if not in a few years. We won't have to wait thousands of years.

That one we'll know within 11 months, assuming people don't quibble about what constitutes a pandemic!

That is what scripture says. Plain and simple.

A couple things:

1)  A false prophet AFAIK, is someone who tries to lead one or more astray and away from God.

2)  "We know in part; we prophecy in part..."  means any one prophet will be given only a portion of the full picture.

3)  When teachers get a certain aspect of a certain teaching wrong, does this mean they are a false teacher?  I ask because I do not believe ANY teacher gets his teachings 100% correct 100% of the time.  He sees through a glass darkly just like the rest of us.  If a teacher is considered to be false for any error, there would be no true teachers anywhere.

4)  How long should we wait before determining the prophecy did not come to pass?  Daniel's prophecies have been in-waiting for several thousand years now....

5)  Part of the Trump Prophecies is that Trump would have 2 consecutive terms.  This makes November 2024 (the next POTUS election) a natural expiration date for this part of the prophecy.

However, if Trump returns at anytime before November 2024, he can still have his 2nd consecutive term, although he would need to be given all 4 years and this would delay the next POTUS election and throw off the regular election cycle.

Deut. 18:22 (NKJVS) when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

This is the proper context of this conversation.

Prophecy is also a 'speaking forth' not necesarily a telling the future.

Your comparison is not apt and has nothing to do with 'teaching' and the 'teachers' gifted to the Church by God.

I suggest that you and others also consider the distraction of these so-called prophets and how this aids the enemy.

I know one thing for certain, as I have witnessed for a great many years: a single-minded focus on these things is not profitable or worse.

Do you think it pleases the Lord, if we use His time, to push that which may very well be false?

Something to consider.

I do not support prophets for today. Why do we need prophets if we have the completed revelation from God in the Bible?

Reputable prophets you say? A reputable prophet gets their prophesies from God, and as such they are never wrong. If even one prophesy is wrong, then they are not true prophets.

And seeing that easily half of these so called prophesies were wrong, then its safe to assume these so called "prophets" are nothing more then wolves in sheeps clothing and not to be followed.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
