Whatever your need, God can meet it. Can you believe it? If you can, He can. Shalom

God can meet our needs according to His will and plan for our lives.

It is laying hold of His willingness.”......MLK..

When it comes to only using a small portion of our brain I ask the question why? Could it be God did not intend for us to use all of it. The average person is limited in knowledge like how many average people  know everything our computer cand do? A car can go much faster than allowed. There are different levels of intelligence and most of us would not be able to handle it.

Jesus said and did many amazing things. He told the disciples If you had the faith of a mustered seed you could make a mountain jump into the sea. Do youu think he meant we were meant to make mountains jump in to the sea? I don't think so.

Jesus came to a tree that never bared fruit so he told it to die. When the disciples came back by the tree it was dead. Do you think Jesus wanted us to go around and tell useless trees to die.  I don't think so.

Adam and Eve received the serpent's spirit in the Garden when they fell.  It was by that spirit they suddenly "KNEW they were naked"

I suspect the devil is more wound up in the carnal intellect of man than we know.....a lot of what we may call talent or intelligence is fed by the devil.  That is one reason the bible says what is esteemed among men is abomination to God.  We who have received a new spirit, the spirit of Christ, need to die to the old and learn to rely on the new man Christ instead, His Spirit.  The carnal mind cannot perceive the things of God, neither can it obey....we need to die out to it, becoming as little children again.

This is not a Biblical concept... they internally died in spirit the moment they ate... nowhere in Scripture is this claim spoken of...

Jesus, in rebuking his disciples said, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of." (Luke 9:55)

Also rebuking the Pharisees, here:

Jhn 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

When we receive God's spirit, it is then that HE becomes our Father.  That's why it is called the spirit of adoption.   No wonder it's in our weakness His strength is made perfect....the 'strength' of the natural man comes from another source.  So we need to become weak in that in order to receive strength/power that is of God.

“what manner of spirit “ is clue not spirit possessed.  They were following evil persuasions …

Again they were following satanic influence of lies and thus they following made him their father for he fathered lies…

I would agree with all that...and for me personally the "Seek first the kingdom..." has always been the hardest for me to do. And also having an "ongoing sin" hasn't helped much either, but am beginning think that this "sin" and the place i am at are one in the same, meaning i will not be able to completely overcome it until i have left where i'm at now...which i strongly feel is not in God's will. And sometimes no one else can tell you that except God/Holy Spirit, so it's probably better at times to not even ask and get some bad advice...but not referring to your comments, just saying.

God can bring you to repentance in the most amazing ways. Deep sorrow and sincere brokeness in a thing.. It could be another person you care for more than yourself stuck in it.

It was the most amazing experience of my life.

Mark 9:[23] Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

If anything I have always been amply provided for, so yes, God provides for His own. Just Saturday I ran out of gas in my van ( no working gas gauge and I had miscalculated how much I had).So we were about 6 miles from home on a weekend. As the vehicle began to sputter I was troubleshooting in my mind, " can't be out of gas", "the fuel pump or an electrical problem. Didn't matter, there we were. I look at my wife who looks amazingly composed and I say, what are we going to do now?

As it turned out the van came to a stop in a wide driveway with plenty of room alongside the road, so we could get off the road. Any further back or any further up and we would have been in the middle of the road. One phone call to my mechanic who advised I should hear the fuel pump run if it's ok. We did. He also advised me of a towing company people use locally.

My neighbor across the street just happened to be home that day and he even gladly offered to run some gas out to us. 20 minutes later we were on the road again. Now, my neighbor might not have been home and we didn't know anyone else that close to call. We could have ended up making a long walk and up steep hills, risking a traffic mishap that could have costed us our lives on narrow roads.

I can't tell you how many times similar things have happened. I might be without a job and say, what are we going to do now? The following week I had a job.

God takes care of our needs even when we are unaware of them. I am convinced it's the things we know nothing about that are probably the most important.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
