Do you have tips of how you wife might try to save money now everything is getting so expensive?

Since the grocery bill has gone up to exceed our mortage, we have decided to eat less beef and stock up on canned goods on sale. We dont eat sweets, so that is not an issue. I made more room for canned goods and dry goods in the cupboards last week. It wont be long before the fresh farmer markets will open in town.

I make a lot of soups and stews that we freeze for meals. Soups are cheap and nutritous. I throw in whateve we have.

We limit meat for what's onsale and stocked up on beans and rice and stuff..:)

It's good to put extra in the freezer when you see certain things  on sale..

We used to. Not since we moved here. The ground is not good on our lot, but I will grow some tomatoes and peppers in buckets this year. We have a lot of wild critters also.

Thanks for the link...there is plenty in a field by me onlly problem is the dogs are everywhere so will be looking elsewhere.
