The antichrist will be claiming to be the true Christ. This is the hour of temptation.  It does not mean that the church is going to be taken away.  It means that those with the seal of God in their foreheads who have stayed in His Word will not be deceived by the AC.  but Christ instructs Satan not to touch even a single hair on their heads. 

Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

You are post trib? Everyone who goes into the 7 year tribulation will suffer. No one is given a special seal when they go into the 7 year tribulation. Everyone will suffer the wrath and judgment of God. Many will come to Christ during the 7 year tribulation and most of them will die as martyrs. They will be the tribulation saints. There will be a small amount of believers who will actually make it to the end but I don't know how they will achieve that since it will be so horrible. 

But suit yourself.

What happened to the "every eye shall see" part.  If I have to hear about it on the news via reports of sightings, something isn't right.  I should be seeing Him myself.

I'm so relieved to see that most people here won't be deceived, though obviously some will.

Regardless of just how it turns out, we have promises. He will not lose a single one of His and Romans 8:28. He is the Great Shepherd.

Its good to remember the simple stuff.

Time will tell. It is not a salvation issue for Christians who believe in the rapture of the Church and those who think the Christians will go into the 7 year tribulation.
