I will say this again in hopes that this time it will sink in. You are basing you salvation on grace and faith only.

No, I am basing my salvation on Christ.

Your salvation is based upon your beggardly efforts at working your way into the Kingdom. Therefore salvation rests on you, and you are utlimately your own savior, not Jesus. It is YOU securing your eternal destiny, not Christ. If you believe that your works save you, then you have rejected grace, and ultimately, Christ.

Yes, Christ is the author of our salvation,

Jesus is the author of our Salvation but we have to finish it on our own?

Tell me sincerely what will keep me out of heaven ?

What do I have to do to get there?

Answer me with your own words ,not with bible verses.

Cardcaptor,

When your children sin against you; do you not still hold them in your arms, do you not still welcome them in your home, do you not still love on them and give them good things?

Cardcaptor,

Forgive me if this has been asked already as I have jumped in mid-stream to this debate, but what work did the theif on the cross do? He simply asked Christ to remember him when He came into His kingdom. No works there!

What works did Paul do? He was vehemenently fighting against Christ when Christ struck him down if you will on his way to slaughter more Christians. He was chosen by God before any works were performed!

Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the Cross for me, and washing away my sins.

the point is if I consider myself a Christian and still live in those sins then I am not in God's favor because the sins that will convict and condemn a sinner will also convict and condemn a Christian when neither of them repent.

No, the point is that if you live in continuous sin, you were never a Christian to begin with. There is no salvation to lose, because you would not, could not, be a Christian and live in habitual, wanton sin. You keep trying to impose an impossible scenario.

It was YOU who chose not to involve yourself in all of these things you listed for the cause of Christ. That is the definition of Romans 12:1,2. When people live like that they are denying their life for Christ to live the life that he wants us to. You are the one who did it. Cna't you understand that?

The point is that I choose not to live in those sins because it is Christ who empowers me through His grace and power within to live those choices out. I am not living for Christ to gain or maintain His favor, or to maintain or secure my salvation. It is not me doing to work, but it is Christ me who does the work. I am not trying to attain to what I already have, and that is the difference between you and I. Christ should be able to live through us in the person of the Holy Spirit in order that our lives should be a testimony of the eternal life we already have, not eternal life we are trying to gain.

Jesus lives his life through me also in that I obey him when he says to repent or I likewise will perish. He is the author of my eternal salvation because I obey him. Do you believe these scriptures?
Yes, but I exegete them better than you.

Is Christ standing in front of you right now to forgive your sins?

Mark 2:10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

He did that for the thief.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The New Law and all of its requirments did not come into effect until AFTER Christ died.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What are you calling a "New Law"? it is a new covenant, the old covenant was fulfilled and completed by Christ on the cross, and those who believe they are no longer under the old covenant,

Hebrews|8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Hebrews|8:7 For if that first

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
