The woman in Revelation 12

Did anybody read the verses I presented last night (quoted document) about her being clothed with the sun?  These verses show the sun pretty clearly = the Son.  Also, there are many verses about Christians being clothed with Christ and with His glory, so this seems to fit that the church is included in this woman.

Bellow the posted scriptures, the reasons are given to show why that children of the woman in rev. 12 those in v.11, and those in verse 17  are the children of the church of Jesus Christ. The children of the testimony of Jesus. 

One more thing to point to is that the Devil did not persecute anyone before the death of Jesus on the Cross and his resurrection and the persecution started first against the disciples of Jesus because at first were the only ones who believed and then the persecution included everyone who believed in Jesus in Jerusalem and the other cities of Judea and then in the believers in the other cities or in the other cities where the believers fled. 

And the persecution eventually included the Gentile believers. 

Before the Cross the Devil only could accused the children of God in the Old testament he could not persecute them..

Before the Gentiles were not included in the Devils accusations...and after the Gospel of Jesus the Gentiles continue not to be persecuted by the Devil, only those in the testimony of Jesus were persecuted, the Devil persecuted and continuous to persecute the church in some other countries and regions of the world.  

******Rev.12:4-5. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 

5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

    and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much  as to shrink from death.

******Rev.12:17  17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

To understand the woman in revelation 12: we must have knowledge of the events that have taken place in the past when that vision was given to the last disciple remained alive from the disciples of Jesus.

(This can take us back to the book of John 21:20-23 

V.20 Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?” 21 When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”

22 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” 23 Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”)

we must have the knowledge of

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,u
    and you will strike his heel.”

And we must know the prophetic in the Psalms and Isaanh about the child to be born, the Messiah the Son of God, the Christ. And the sircumstances of his birth in Luke one. And the prophetic as to whom the scriptures make reference that he will ruled over the Nations with the Iron Scepter.  ( his rulership will have no end, because his kingdom will not be decided and it cannot be conquer. (an Iron Scepter cannot be broken or divided)

And the knowledge of the new family of God, the spiritual family, the born from the blood of Jesus, those who have their Sins forgiven in the name of Jesus in his blood. 

The born from the Spirit. 

The children of faith and  not of the Circumcision. 

Not the children of the Circumcision of the flesh but of the children by faith in Jesus having forgiveness of their sins in the Blood of the Lamb. 

We must have knowledge that Jesus is the Lamb of God who shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sins. 

We must have the knowledge that not all "Israel" believe and have theirs sins forgiven in the blood of Jesus Christ have the testimony of Jesus...

we must understand that Abraham and everyone who was with him at the time of the death in Jesus are under the blood of Jesus Christ....because they believed in Jesus is the Messiah the Son of God when Jesus went to see Abraham right after his death on the Cross. 

Only those having their sins forgiven in the blood of Jesus are the children of God..they are clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ.  

The children of the woman in rev 12 are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus because they died for the testimony of Jesus.  

They are the children of the New Covenant, and they for the testimony of Jesus, which points that they were persecuted for their belief in Jesus Christ.  

In rev. 12:17 it points that the persecution of the children of the woman are or will be persecuted continously for their testimony or Jesus Christ. 

The children of the woman in verse 17 are the children who have been clothed with the robe of Jesus Christ righteousness. 

We understand that the children of the woman are the children who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and thus being identify they include both Jews and Gentiles who have believe in Jesus and who together they make up the church of Jesus. 

Then with confidence we may say that the woman is the mother of the church of Jesus Christ.

The children in rev. 12:11 and 12:17 are having something in common they are depicted as the children of the woman who have not testimony of Jesus...

This narrative is telling us that not everyone will die for his faith in Jesus but everyone will persecute for his faith in Jesus...there different kinds of persecution we face during the course of our lives as believers in Jesus Christ...

The scriptures are directing us to look whether someone has the testimony of Jesus without any prejudice of background connections. 

Only those who are alive (and before they died are asked to follow Jesus) and the persecution by the Devil only applies to believers before they die, while they are still alive, the persecution ends at the time when they die.

For the church is something similar because members of the church can be persecuted by the devil while they were alive and not there after.

That it helps us to understand that the members of the church of Jesus are those who can be called to come to gather to the place of the meeting of worship that it can include only those in Christ who are still alive and the invitation to them to come to the assembly when they died.  

The church of Jesus consist only of those who have not died yet, those who can be called to come to the meeting of the assembly.

Agreed on ID of the manchild - those who "overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony."  The stronger part.
