I've been Googling and Googling.  I can't find a statue of Molech in the Vatican.  I see one that was at the Roman Colesseum from the Fall of 2019 to Spring of 2020 as part of a large scale art exhibit.

I don't know if it is still there or not. It was a replica of a Molech statue from a 1914 silent film.

Indeed. To counter related misinformation, membership in the Nazi Party was not a requirement in Hitler's Germany. The Nazi Party were the "elite" of that horrible tyrant's regime.

An off-topic reference was made regarding the Communist Party of the former Soviet Union and how courage was required to refuse membership --- as if membership in the Communist Party was a requirement, which it was not. No one in the former USSR was required to join the Communist Party... that is, if they had no interest in pursuing political power or influence. 

The Hitler Youth were part of the educational system in German schools. It was virtually unavoidable unless a family planned to flee the influence of the Third Reich, which only a few managed to do successfully.

The Pope approved it's placement  at the colosseum from what I remember.

Just to counter some misinformation: I didn't say that people were required to join the Communist Party, e.g. in the U.S.S.R; but, it is true they could find that good jobs, university places, etc., were unavailable to them, if they did not.

Totalitarian regimes are all alike (details may differ, but the control/fear and forced conformity are common to all), so my reference to other totalitarian regimes than Naziism was not "off-topic" (the topic included reference to refusal to join their organisations and the courage required).

Perhaps it would be good to leave the nit-picking and focus on the important general issues.

I was doing the same and found the same. while I'm no fan of the RCC system, this doesn't seem to have occurred.

What I found said he had no control over what was displayed in the Coliseum, as it's owned and operated by a totally different entity..
