Does this mean you are sin free now and never doing anything that is sinful ,at all?

I was reading some stuff about someone that claimed they don't sin and all the other people were claiming he was a false christian for claiming that

Apparently it's widely accepted that all people were born sinners and nobody can stop sinning.  I'm seeing a lot of people saying this is true

Hi.. so you've bounced around long enough what is it you believe? Jesus son of God came in the flesh .. this ones a given what do you believe about sin? You've read about what others say here and there great what do you believe.

I don't need a big fancy mansion so as long as I'm not losing THE reward of going to heaven, than I'm all good.

Carry on then!

BTW - "mansion" as it is translated in some versions like KJV is actually better rendered "abode" or "dwelling." According to Ephesians 2:19-22 and John 14:23 we are an abode, a dwelling place of God in spirit. Therefore the traditional thought of some big, white, palatial southern style mansion is probably a little off.

Ha ha you guys!

If we were all born sinners and we can't help but sin every day and Jesus has forgiven all sins past present and future, then what's the problem?

You can't say on one hand all sin has already been forgiven and then turn around and say your born a sinner, you can't help but sin, and then say you're supposed to not sin.

You are contradicting yourself by saying one thing and then turning around and opposing what you just said!

26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

And this is a great passage in Hebrews 10 which illustrates that there are consequences for not living according to Christ after being saved! The Hebrew believers were warned a number of times in this book - this shows that God does not take things a believer (His child) does lightly!

So again, while Jesus paid a very high price for all sins, and those who accept His free gift are forgiven, it is what we do now with the grace and life we've been given - will we live by Him in us or by our sinful fleshThere is accountability, rewards and very uncomfortable consequences of not allowing His life to grow in us!

Once we get saved, we can't ever lose that right?

I've always heard that our actions in this life cannot cause us to to not be saved because Jesus paid for all our sins including the future sins we might commit.

You have heard wrong.

"THE ONLY THING WE NEED TO KNOW IS JESUS"

No, not so. It is  insufficient for me to isolate Yeshua, His atonement for my sin against God, to a casual just know Jesus statement.

Romans 8:31 is  one line of a very lengthy letter covering a series of answers to questions that had likely been asked of rabbi Paul. The immediate three lines preceding what a man has numbered as 8:31 tells a very different tale than it is up to us to then decide on anything.

Romans 8  of that lengthy letter, as it has been divided up into  chapters later on by a man, not by inspiration of God, is a transitional portion of the letter leading to an explanation of God's plan  for Israel. That plan has been,  divided up by a man into chapters 9, 10 , and 11.

Just knowing Jesus has no redeeming value for demons. They know him.

Oh I am sure of that too. Again opinions are not worth a hoot when held up to the word of God the Bible along with understanding of it that comes through one's own prayer about it with one's own  reading of it, the thinking over what has been read and then more prayer  over it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
