Bible softwares recommendation?

I originally started with the free version of eSword, then purchased SwordSearcher. I invested in LOGOS 10 because of its versatility, productivity, functions, and expandability. An electronic library is much more efficient for biblical study than physical shelf references. I hear others on this forum use Accordance Bible software and are very happy with it. Perhaps they will chime in.

I will not recommend any because they are all good and subjective to price, learning curve, and desired personal features.

On my PC when doing research, I use Biblesoft's "one touch"

On my phone, I use Bible Gateway.  I find it easier to use for reading scripture.

As I can rightly assume that you have internet access, I will share that I use

BLB.org=blueletterbible.org for free, unless you have expendable income.

All I really use is the interlinear, concordances and comparative translations.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish, and I have no idea

what great advantage there might be to owning a software package.

That's just my two mites.

 I use a hardcopy of "The Criswell Study Bible".

Online? You version. Lots of different translations and free. 

Offline? Nothing but a good ol solid KJV

I as well use Biblesoft's "one touch"... along with several hundreds of add ons ... to be studied approved one must have the means to do so...

Anyone know of any basic  zero app, *offline usable only* sort of bible software?

I was telling Kwik last week that I had this desire to go back to a "pre online" life and just hit the paper book (scriptures) but to be quite honest that's the difficulty (for me) because I am addicted to the speed of an  online bible and would be really miserable going offline altogether without having one downloaded.  Which is all that's left for me to do, being last on my "death to the internet" bucket list (haha)

Why does this seem like a difficult thing to find though? 

This is a very timely thread.

And I do not want anything fancy  just a very basic Blue letter bible layout, which is a very simple word/verse search sort of software for offline use, and that's it. And regardless of how basic I really don't mind it costing a lot more so long as I can work with it offline.

Is there such a thing?

Oh Sis now you know I don't know much anything about the internet,apps etc

But can't you upload a Bible and info onto a PDF and save it your computer files- does thst require being " online" to view what you Saved that way?Or a flash drive or something like that?

And btw,I'm not even sure about what I'm trying to suggest!lol
